No, I don't hate Su Yang, I have no opinion with the concept of the story itself, it is the writing itself that is bad. That novel is the epitome of 'Telling, not showing' kind of writing style. There are no gesture to reflect the emotions of the characters, they are all like emotionless dolls and puppets of showcase the 'Perfect-ness' of Su Yang, the women are like the trophies of his. The actions and combat in the story are subpar and I have to re-emphasize on the amount of fillers in that story.

What do I mean by 'Showing'? There are many ways like, instead of saying 'She fell in love with him', you can write scenarios of the encounters between the two characters. Without writing the phrase 'she love him', you can just mention that her face becomes red whenever she saw his expression, this can represent shyness and maybe adoration. Her thumbs fidgeting with each others, this can represent nervousness. These are writing techniques and there are many more I haven't mentioned. Just so you know, I am no writer, nor do I have the education qualification on this subject. Even so, as a reader, I am able to tell how bad it is with the novel.
