Personally haven't reached to those "great 300+ chapters". So far the story isn't much interesting. But chapters fly by quickly at first. Later though more and more I got annoyed about the fillers so started skipping a lot.
The shounen vibe is strong in here. MC suffers, levels-up through pain, "inhumane efforts" and "big risk", sometimes done by himself just for a better foundation. MC's quite edgy, in my "humble" opinion. And arrogant (
). My guess is author wanted to mix in that personality of his previous life to not make MC seem as too harsh. As getting to know about that moment just made him seem as ludicrous in the end. Pride seeped not through bones, but soul.
I haven't payed much attention towards the names of whatever parts and techniques of cultivation world and levels though. But there's quite plenty of those. With the long explanations.

The story has some narcissistic vibes as well. For the readers to admire MC's stature.
MC this, MC that. 30 times MC's name being mentioned in a small chapter is quite a usual sight.

Pretty much the only thing I really liked was that sharp tongue of his. But it appears just too rarely.

    - there is a LOT of filler.
    - the first 100 chapters are basically an introduction. the next 200 are marred by constant failures. then we can see progress.
    - i like the MC's straight-to-the-point attitude. no bullshitting. if he don't like you, he's either going to kill you now or kill you later.
    - at the same time though, that straightforward attitude is bred from arrogance. an arrogance that more often than not lands him in avoidable trouble. at least up until the 700s where he has enough strength to mitigate some of the trouble his arrogance brings his way.
    - something to note: he doesn't often get saved by powerful uncles or reclusive experts. most of the time he just kinda gets into trouble and lives with it until he has enough strength to either break free or run tf away.
    - as someone said before, there are moments of hype in the novel, but they are quickly dampened by the very, very lacking endings and the things that happen after.

overall: it's not bad. but it's not great either.

      - in the 1200s, it's starting to feel like everyone has been dumbed down so the MC can be intelligent. which isn't a really fun thing to note when paired with the fact that the MC has lost all of his power (AGAIN) and so we can do nothing but watch him verbally squabble with trillion-year-old-idiots.
      - the author also LOVES going in useless circles. whether it be with the MC's abilities, or with his character development, or with the side characters. it's all just uselessly repeated. for example, this is the most recurring trope: MC gets a boost and is praised to the high heavens. next chapter MC isn't worth the dirt on the ground. next chapter he loses his powers. next chapter he gains it all back with a boost. rinse and repeat.

For some reason, after a while the sex seems becomes one of the focal points of the story. It's kinda annoying too especially with how the MC is with it.

Warning! Author is a bit of a sadist. MC's arrogance knows no bounds. First 250-300 chapter were difficult to get through, at least for me. MC was tortured and humiliated, but he was still too proud and arrogant even without having any power. It can be frustrating and annoying. After 300 chapters, it gets better. Ryu is still too arrogant, but he gets some power to act that way, so it's bearable. Cultivation system is really detailed and complex, i would say too much. Ryu has ridiculous, heaven-defying talents, but it often seems he doesn't have any control over his body and cultivation. It's like he's a passenger in his own body. Random things keep happening to him, outside of his control, so the plot feels forced sometimes. He's cultivating too many things, comprehending too much, so his cultivation is kinda slow. There are a lot of hype and exciting moments, but the pay-off is sometimes disappointing. It can build up frustration, if you get really immersed in the novel.

The premise of the book is really good. The main plot line is intriguing and genuine. It's a true cultivation novel, with drama and consequences.

The biggest let down is the cultivation system, its way too complex. The levels have similar names and no real explanation.

You cant tell if he is talking about spiritual cultivation, Qi cultivation or body. It is just way to hard to follow. This causes you to fall out of the immersion the book would otherwise give.

If anyone ever takes the time to re translate this novel, as it could be amazing, change the cultivation system to a better one.

The translation isn't the issue. The cultivation system is complicated as u said but if you read everything at once, it's easier.
The most confusing for me is the focus qi and the idea of weapon sovereign/lord or whatever.

It's basically the sunken cost fallacy. If u have invested time into reading 150 ull probably continue to 200 and then to 250 till either it's real bad or it stops

Dont be retarded, it’s because none of you have real arrogance. You don't earn arrogance, you are born with it, what idiot is arrogant of what they worked for, arrogance is only for the talented or those who are at the peak of what they do where it doesn't matter of they earned or had it, they now have a right. To put it simply you have no talents whatsoever, so you hate those that do which is why you hate those that do, and your pathetic existence starts to complain on one of two novels i have ever seen with an arrogant talented mc. Yet you dirty the comment section despite EVERY OTHER FUCKING NOEVEL EVER MADE, EVER SEEN, EVER STARTED, HAVING MCS WITH LESS TALENT THAN THE HAIRS ON MY HEAD
