      MC goes into the world of a game but spawns as an unimportant side character. Another guy goes in as the hero, but he was one hell of a f#cker... So the MC kills him and now has to save the world with a shitty character.

      4/5 for me. Interesting world and likeable MC if you look past his denseness.

        Basically there were two players that got transmigrated into the game - one as protag, one as extra, but the protag guy was a f*cker so extra guy killed him and the extra guy is our mc. Was it only those two who got transmigrated or more ppl also did?

        By denseness u mean only in romance ryt? If he is dense as a person (say... like Luffy who is dense in romance and in normal stuff except when it comes to emotional situations), then that would be a disappointment. I prefer mcs who can plan things out nicely or atleast are capable of complex thought processes

          Only those two as far as I know. Denseness is romance wise, the MC knows the future but has a shit character, so there is a lot of interesting planning. As for the denseness he becomes self aware of it in the later half, so it's not as bad as the usual dense MC.

      You do know that he was like 40 years from his lives combined right? You would have to be a creep to look at teenage girls that way.         How old are you to say a 40 years old man doesn’t lust after teenage girl? Even 70 years old man marry 20 years old girl. If that guy doesn’t feel lust he have hormonal problems. But mc is a healthy boy.
        Also end of the world? Even in 2nd world war where soldiers knew he may die in the war he still married a girl. Also when you know that the world is going to end you will carve a girl even more.

          Carve a girl? You like gutting people? That's some nasty hobby mate. Turn yourself in, for everyone's sake.
          Not chasing after girls with him still being weak and the world ending near is having his priorities straight. Comparing it to world war 2 is stupid, it's not like nukes were invented yet, even though a lot of people died, it was only 3% of total population. And it's the cruelest war with most sacrifices in human history.
          Even that gay bastard who killed everyone to become op lost to the last enemy, so him focusing on himself is more important right now. It's because he wants a future that he tries to improve. If he didn't have hope, he would probably screw around until he died, but it's not that kind of story. There are different genres who can give you what you want

        He is definitely just dense. Sometimes he even mentions how he would like to date a cute girl like this and that. Small spoilers but:


        The world ending part would be a good point at first glance, after he realizes all his female friends are into him that becomes his excuse to not date anyone. Honestly it's not a very good excuse when you stop to think about it though. You would think the MC is too busy saving the world for that shit, yet he leisurely goes on dates with random girls all the time (while thinking it's just friends hanging out ofc)

    First of all, I will have to follow the author's warning regarding the first chapter: This isn't a BL novel!
    Top 30 at its peak on Munpia and rated 9.1 on Naver
    Premise:

    Without a doubt the most memorable first chapter I've read,
    The story starts 3 years after our protagonist has possessed a side character at a game he played.
    For 3 years he has been working with the protagonist of the novel- "The Player", another possessor who as "The Player" had access to the status screen which made him a lot stronger.

    It turns out that for 3 years The Player has been manopalizing our protagonist for himself and killing important side characters. He turned yandere and locked our protagonist and went to fight with the final boss.
    Even though he monopolized everything for himself he had lost.

    Our protagonist then regresses 3 years to the past and vows to kill him


    The world building is amazing, be it the powers, settings and other small unique things.
    The protagonist is very smart, be it in his fights or him planning for the future on many things.
    He main weapon is a spear (as can be seen on the cover) which he uses to its max potential, the action scenes are top-tier.
    The side cast seems very rich in terms of both power, personalities and background.
