I don't know why but I felt like I am again reading a Novel called I reincarnated In a shounen mangA

This story has no interesting hook to get you to start reading this story, and this disinterest continues till chapter 23 where I left for now. The chapters are long which is why I am giving a review so early on and the fact that there is only 95 chapters so far.

The only interesting thing is that the MC really loves the martial arts and the premise I presumed was that he will be more of a scientist and will break down the techniques and have a deeper understanding than anyone else in the cultivation world. But till chapter 23 I have not seen anything of that sort he is more like a child who found a new toy and he isn’t using it any different from everyone else. However because it is something new to him he trains a lot more than the other from what we have read so far. I like a training maniac MC but I would have liked it better if we saw more of his tough process during training, like “why is it like this” or “how can i make it work better for me” but I think he will start doing this in the future IDK I hope so because so far he is just going through the motion. He is essentially just like an average person who just has more enthusiasm he is not an underdog who has to fight for his opportunities, he is not talented enough to bring about interesting new techniques in fact the comedy here is that he is doing his best to NOT get involved with these clichés. idk about you but I am not here to read about what an average person would do were they transmigrated or reincarnated in a cultivation world.

All in all this is a below average cultivation novel. If you are interested in reading a western depiction of the cultivation genre I recommend “lightning is the only way”

Plot starts to pick a bit later than usual but like a lot of other people said it's pretty info heavy at first. Protagonist is probably not going to be the strongest now or probably ever, so if that's what you're looking for then this isn't for you. It's more of a look into how a bookworm/regular guy would survive in a cultivation world with the goal of seeing and learning everything he can.

so on scribble hub I seen someone saying it's written with AI. That may be the reason why so much info dumps. Although I have no idea if true or not

Shit. Despite the title and the first couple of chapters, the main character does not stand out in any way compared to other heroes of similar genres. Instead of reading about the basics of the world and how and why everything works here, what would be in the character of the hero based on the first chapters. He begins to learn skills of mortal rank, despite the fact that they will literally become useless in a couple of years, and he is not going to fight during this time. If he wants to become stronger in the short term it is more profitable to cultivate, if in the long term it is more profitable to study the structure of the world. But instead, like all heroes, he learns skills simply to be stronger than people of the same rank, and he doesn’t care that people of higher rank will slam him like a fly no matter how many skills he learns. 2/10. In fact, the book is not bad, but it does not live up to the expectations that it itself mentioned

Interesting, is very slow, written well, not many would read it but I'd say read it for like a few chaps

This novel isn’t for people looking for a quick dopamine fix. Too slow, too boring, too information heavy.

Basically too nerdy, unless you are specifically looking for this type, it probably won’t suite your tastes.

Not my taste either, dropped.

Kind of expected how the story would turn out and wouldn't say it was bad but it was just not the type of story; that I like. Also the story has slow development and made me bored.

Enjoyed the idea and possible concept of the story, but it fell flat by being way too slow in development of storyline, character, and progression of the world. By chapter 50 which was most recent as of my writing this, barely anything especially of impact/import has truly happened.
