    Im actually interested based on the comments since the mc is normal and righteous.. which as usual people hates a lot XD

    and this type of mc is not the usual one instead if he really is that righteous and naive.. there are f#cking lots of leylin type of mc already, kinda sick of them tbh..

    Annoyed because you can't vote lower than 1 star.

    When I started and read in the comments that the MC was unbearably stupid and that there was too much plot armor, I didn't think much of it, it couldn't be that bad, right?

    And I was right.

    It's much worse than you imagine. Practically half of the people who started reading this novel think the same and have stopped. I'm currently on chapter 120 and he should have died at least 6 times by now but (coincidentally) there is always someone who comes by and helps him or receives some kind of power-up. I'm on the verge of quitting, but I'm very reluctant.

    Don't get me wrong, I like the world building, the grammar is good, and I generally like the personalities of all the characters....except the MC. I understand that he is a child who has barely seen the world and is consequently very emotional and has been raised with noble ideals, but that doesn't make him any less insufferable. Maybe it's because I just finished a novel with an extremely logical MC (DD), but I don't like such an immature MC.

    As a first novel it is fine, but if you have already read a few novels, it will be difficult for you to want to advance to the next chapter. I read for enjoyment, not to cross things off a list, and I'm not enjoying this novel as much as I expected.

    I'm going to give it another chance for about 50 chapters, but I don't have high expectations anymore.

      Okay, let's talk about star rating.
      Let's be honest - if you were to somehow know you would rate something 3 stars - you probably won't bother with it. After all, who wants to waste their time on something average, unless they really like the concept AND extremely bored.
      For that reason I rarely rate something 1 star - if something is that awful and irredeemable then I'll probably drop it before I can judge it fully. At least 2 stars means there may be something redeemable about it and maybe you're invested in it enough to keep reading, even if it feels like a waste of time.

      So, for something to make you want to rate it EVEN LOWER THAN 1 STAR, it has to really challenge your understanding of what "awful" is - you remembered reading all your 1 star novels - the absolute bottom of the barrel, something that even worse than a waste of time, the experiences that you desperately want to forget - and realised that they weren't so bad, actually. You saw a piece of shit on the street, smelled it, then read THIS NOVEL and decided that the smell of shit is actually better...

      And you decided to read 50 more chapters of it.

    MC is too kind-hearted to the point it’s annoying, so much plot armor and power of friendship BS, it’s one thing to be kind and naive if you grow up in a loving environment However this MC is borderline stupid!! I don't recommend but who cares what I think, read at your peril

    Innocent Incompetent Mc, self righteous, lacks cunning and wisdom to plan/strategize and outsmart his enemies, reckless, to emotional, lack common sense, Hero wannabe MC that want to save everyone, way to DAMN KIND too the point it's annoying. But this is fine because BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT???? EMERY is just a normal Teenage Kid raised by kind loving parents in a safe and peaceful environment. he didn't need to be Smart, competent, very cunning or be a matured cold hearted calculating MC because Emery is just a NORMAL KID!!!! he's very kind type of mc that want to save everyone be righteous, justice and all of that stuff, Because his father is a very great kind man who will help others and bring justice, Emery Is very much just like his kind parents.

    If you are looking for MC that is smart, cold hearted, calculating, competent, Experienced when handling situations and problems, not reckless, cunning, wise and smart that makes decisions like a very calculated chess move then.
    GET OUT OF HERE!!!! because the MC Emery is far from this. But Emery does get better and more Experienced when handling situations and problems in the latter chapters in like chapter 1000+

      I had stopped around chapter 500~600 and it really showed signs of getting better after the Camelot saga was finally over. I'm glad to have confirmation, but it's a little frustrating that it takes so long to become a likeable MC, especially in this slow-paced story.

        chapter 1100 the MC is still a hero wannabe that wants to save everyone. and he does not care about the lives of soldiers that dies to save everyone. there is this one event where he used his classmates or team mates to save people even if many of his team mates died. The teammates died just because MC wanting to "SAVE EVERYONE" (except his teammates that are dying)

    •Seus amigos sempre morrem ou se ferram por causa das atitudes ingênuas dele.
    •Sempre que alguém ajuda ele, parece que todos tem um plano oculto para usá-lo depois.
    •Ele sempre é desprezado e só tem azar na maioria das vezes.
    •Ele não é carismático, engraçado, forte e confiante, inteligente, rico ou qualquer outra coisa que seja agradável nele, mas mesmo assim, está cheio de mulheres bonitas atrás dele... Armadura de enredo é demais!!
    •Por mais ferrado que esteja, ele consegue sobreviver por sorte e continuar subindo na escola de magos, apesar de ser um lixo.
    Ele tem uns momentos de sorte que ajudam nisso.


    Entendo que na maioria dos romances tem essas dificuldades, mas o protagonista sempre tem algo legal que atrai nossa atenção e simpatia.
    Na maioria dos casos, o protagonista apanha, mas depois fica forte e se vinga.
    Ele podem ser ingênuos, mas depois ficam espertos e começam a enganar seus inimigos.
    Ele ficam fortes e inteligentes, o protagonista continua o mesmo, não tem um grande mudança nele... Só a sorte que o ajuda demais...
