Currently at c295 and I think I'm going completely insane. Isn't this supposed to be a technologically advanced world? I swear that two cavemen banging rocks together would have better information channels. The MC has demonstrated himself to be one of the most talented people alive, and I kid you not, people living in the same f#cking city don't know him. And it's not like the MC is particularly low-key. No, he has already shown off in front of hundreds, if not thousands of people at least several times. But nope, nothing on the internet; the supposed powerful clans don't know about him. It's like everyone in this stupid world goes by the 'see to believe' logic, but even that doesn't make sense because people could just take videos, no? Also, people who do know how powerful and talented he is don't bother telling anyone else, I want to bang my head against the wall every time someone sees the MC and his supposedly best friend/family/clan member doesn't know who he is. It's completely retarded and it's pissing me off more than any other obvious plot holes in this.

If you feel like giving up at some point,DO NOT.Sure the forgetfullness of the writer and the really cringe face-slapping are annoying but you won't regret continuing with the book to the end.

This wasn't a bad novel but boy, could it get frustrating at times. Even though they often weren't major things, the author kept forgetting about what they wrote. The MC would occasionally act in such a stupid and unreasonable manner while visiting the cultivation sites. Most frustrating was how My interest just died after that and I only continued reading because I didn't wanna drop after coming so far.

Still tho, the fights were pretty interesting at times and I like the whole Pokemon-pet training thing. If only MC was just a little smarter...

For someone like me who absolutely hate nationalism due to reading those type of novel too much, this novel has little to none. Like what previous review or comment have mentioned, this novel is great except for a few part in the novel.

One part being when the skeleton that been with Mc for the past 1000+ chapter died due to Mc stupidity in being a Chinese Mc aka suicidal and always needing to seek trouble and more.

Might be a personal take, but Mc could have stay inside his store the whole story, but half way through the novel, Mc seem to have explored more compare to the pet store part of the novel. This lead to multiple avoidable accident, one being the death of his skeleton. Those times would make you feel like killing the Mc for his stupidity. But other times especially during those pet training, you will enjoy those the most because of how exciting yet calming experience.

The story building of this novel is excellent for new readers. Average for the og who have read excellent novel like LOTM(Lord of the Mysteries) and RI(Reverend Insanity) since this novel occasionally had some weird story building due to the vagueness and the backtracking made by the author.

That is my review, experience it for yourself, this plot is not for everyone, but for me, it was enjoyable.

Wth the ending

Yes at the beginning of this story it has a lots of unreasonable plot bullshit plot armor forced plot useless pointless face slapping chapters that i skipped but i still kept reading. Yes it is cringe in a lot of times. Yes a lot of times the MC was retarded and stupid. Yes there's a lot of cliche.

But when you finish the whole 1580 chapters. Then suddenly close your Eyes and try to remember all the emotions the sadness, happiness, excitement, the adventure itself the ride the feeling that you didn't expect to be here yet you're still here. The memories of all the things you've gone together with MC Su Ping.

You will feel it was WORTH IT. Even thought it has a lot of flaws and mistakes. This adventure is an irreplacable one that will forever stay in your heart

it was a journey, some may say it was a good one some may say it was a bad one but when you finish this novel you feel something unexplainable.
For me this is a novel that will be always in my heart forever.
Many might disagree but i don't care this is a gem amongst gems.

This one isn't as refined as the author's other novel the dark king

The story is good and enjoyable until the dark cave event ( 600-700 maybe), if u somehow bear that the story becomes unbearable at around chapter 1250/1260. So much cringe and retarded MC
The system is sentient which is irritating.
Plus, the author sometimes forgets about some events and things in his own novel. Which is hilarious
It certainly is enjoyable if you are new novel readers or didn't read chinese novels much,
But for others, this will be a huge waste of time and cause for lost of brain cells
