On the 15th of March 2139, the world mourns the passing of Darius Stone, billionaire broker, and philanthropist.

Yet while his family and friends put his body to rest, Darius wakes up to find himself reborn into a younger body in a different world.

A strange voice informs him that his soul has been transported into the magic-filled world of Faust on the behest of a mysterious Goddess called Vena, for the sole purpose of entertaining her through his struggles.

In this world where any dream can be achieved with enough effort, he sets out to become a Supreme, an existence above Mortals and even Gods!

.........

Warning: This novel features a villainous protagonist. If you have enjoyed Warlock of the Magus World, then you should be able to tolerate Darius Stone’s actions and choices throughout the novel in terms of Morality.

Note: This story is slow-paced in order to allow for better world-building and development. If you’re looking for a fast-paced action story, this might not be for you. Collapse

The MC was a cutthroat businessman who died of old age, brought by a goddess to a world that seems to be a combination of different cultures. Sword and sorcery, Japanese mythic, mecha, ect. Monsters and fantastic beasts. He is given tasks by the goddess to "entertain" her upon pain of death if he fails, so he tries to do what he can even by risking others' lives to manipulate events to succeed.

The MC is quite smart and crafty. He prefers planning and preparation over fighting. He is quite evil in the sense that genocide is nothing to him in pursuit of his strategic goals, but doesn't mistreat people randomly.

The MC is a mage. The MC has the typical big system cheat, exp to gain levels with a reward of ability and skill points, among other advantages.

The system is definitely not the focus of the story. The MC hardly ever even checks his status, save to add points here and there. The author tries to minimize it, tries to describe combat in a fun way just to avoid the annoying system trope.

The side characters are interesting, the world building is decent, the economy and politics are filled out enough to be immersive and a bit believable.

The MC is a try-hard villain just as the mc in guild wars. If the author can't make a proper evil mc then why not just make an antihero or something? 🤦‍♂️

LISTEN YE OLDE READERS, here's the thing you should know about this novel, it's not bog standard OP MC.

IF you like OP MC but are tired of the run of the mill way it's told, this should be worth the read BUT!
    BUT!
    BUT!
Here's the caveat, before chapter 100, it's basically a semi interesting, but still run of the mill OP MC. It also makes sense because it's like the one that called him to this new world is giving him a grace period before actually testing him.

And yes, this grace period ends at about chapter 100 where the limit of his god given skill is seen and advancement relies on a LOT of things where his skills will certainly help, but nothing is guaranteed.

I'm still reading, so far it's an above average read.
IF the author succeeds with this "first arc" after the grace period, then this will be TOP TIER.

For now I suggest that you either wait for my update (reply here if your'e interested) OR just read through 1 to 100 since it's a good enough time waster as it is anyway.
