Anyone craving more football can check out Player Manager on Royal Road. In my opinion, it's far better than GOAT. I used to think GOAT was pretty great too until I read PM. The level of depth it goes into is insane. On top of that, it's extremely funny and realistic. The beginning might be a little slow where the mc is still figuring things out. The story only gets better and better as time goes on. And the chapters get chunkier (book 3 onwards the average word count for each chapter is 10k). Honestly, just check out some of the reviews on goodreads.
