These pages would be 10x shorter if you removed the system notifications in each chapter that acts as basically word count. Other than that this novel is good if you just want a self fulfillment novel that requires no thinking because the MC will get everything he wants. The only reason why I think this is rated so high is because it just does it better compared to some other dog shit

Read up to Chapter 814.

The initial 500 chapters were enjoyable, but beyond that point, the story just become bad. Within just 800 chapters, and in less than a month within the narrative, and it seemed too rushed with an overwhelming amount of events. The escalating numbers, such as a 40-billion-strong army get recruit/day treated as a morning routine , felt increasingly unrealistic. While I appreciate power trip novels, I prefer something like Re:Monster. This novel, in contrast, felt too incremental for my taste. Nevertheless, it's still a good read, and I did find enjoyment in it.

Fellow readers I write this review after reading an incredible 900 chapters and after much suffering I’ve decided to warn you all about the dangers of such brainwashing and brain melting novel. But before I start heavily criticizing the novel I shall give y’all my evaluation of this novel’s criteria’s. (5 stars is max]

Let’s start by story development: In 900 chapters of this novel the total time elapsed is a grand total of… a little more than a month. And yet after such a LONG time the MC went from the literal bottom in day 1 to top 1% of all lords around the world, and this is merely taking in consideration the military strength, if we were to add all artifacts and money he would be in the top 0.05%. The story is the definition of a rushed work, it almost doesn’t have any pauses to consolidate MC’s strength and everything the author can think of is to increase the numbers of troops, equipment, bloodline, skills, etc. the story isn’t really enjoyable and it’s full of repetition just changing the power level and scale of battle.

Next let’s talk about Writing quality…. The arguably second worst part of this novel, I dare say that it isn’t fully the fault of the translator group as there are several points where the author doesn’t even seem to have the mental capacity of a high schooler, we can easily see this from the amounts of screw ups in numbers are found in the story, examples are as following: 800 + 600% = 10500, 5000 x 10000 = 5000000, there are sometimes that’s its so absurd that one can’t even believe that this novel was made by a human such as an ability having a max limit of recruiting troops being 5 million however the number that it actually recruits are always over it and many chapters later mentioning that the actual limit is 50 millions only so that a few chapters later MC is able to recruit 67,5 millions and later on returning to the max limit of 59 million, or for example saying that he has 500 billion equipments and literally 20 sentences later it becomes 1 trillion. It’s nearly unbearable the amount of times this happened and it made me rage so much that I nearly dropped it, however as said in the beginning of this long paragraph, this is arguably the SECOND
worse part of this novel, the worst part I will mention near the end of this review.

Let’s continue to the World Background… well, there isn’t really that much to say about it, apart that it’s the most solid section of the whole novel, it is however poorly explored. Mainly Just referencing certain places and not really developing this part nearly as much as I hoped for, as of chapter 900 we don’t really have an exact scale as for how big the world actually is, we can only estimate that it should be a couple of sextillions of square quilometers the main planet where our MC is located, we also know of some other planes or universes as we are told such as the insect universe, dragon universe, the abyss and more, but the author hasn’t really gone much in depth about it.

Lastly, before coming to the grand conclusion where I will list the greatest demerits and merits of the novel, I shall now write about the character design… our MC is a… well from what I read he is in between a middle aged man and an old man, he has transmigrated a total of two times, first time from Earth to a world called the Cerullean planet and afterwards to the current place he finds himself, the High continent, we don’t really receive a lot of informations about the cerulean planet, neither about earth, all we know about is that both planets are quite similar in geography and ethnicity… why is this last part important? Well because the MC is Chinese, and as all ‘good’ Chinese authors this one couldn’t have not accentuated what china’s novels are best known for… at the very least the ridiculous patriotism isn’t that apparent in the beginning, however after a couple hundreds of chapters it gets worse and worse. Anyway getting back to the MC, he owns probably the most OP lord talent in the whole world, even before its upgrade, this tatent makes things so easy that’s not a surprise that there is basically no challenge for the MC to completely dominate everyone, the MC literally needs no plot armor for this talent of his can probably destroy any plot armor any other novel’s MCs have, Zhao Zhao(our MC) is also seemingly brain dead in many portions of the story, for he insists in not using of inconsequential power ups that takes literal second when he is free and instead insists in using them when he is ‘safe’… absolutely no reason to, also he has severe Alzheimer as he constantly forgets important advantages and pieces of informations(including promises) which he never seems to complete, anyways he is an unremarkable, unreliable character that has his few neurons focused in the idea that numbers are power and throughfully follows this, without his talent he would literally be nothing, and there fore as I’m writing this I’ve realized that the score I gave at this criteria is too high, and am going back to re-write it at a lower score.

Merits… it’s a relatively unique(although not by much) creative idea, slow paced and a good read if you have already read about 70% of the good novels out there and have no problem melting your brain and loosing a great percentage of your neurons.

Demerits… apart from everything I’ve written before, I would like to reinforce in a few parts, such as the constantly inconsistency in what’s writing in two different chapters, he’ll even in what’s writing in two paragraphs, separated by a few other paragraphs. It’s badly written, clearly having made use of an mal and at most changing one every three sentences. The MC is completely brain dead, not making use of not even 10% of the advantages that his talent brings him, however author insists in portraitist him as the smartest person alive, the author makes the MC way too overpowered and puts way too much restrictions in powerful factions. At last I would like to speak of what destroyed this novel for me, and that is, unsurprisingly, China’s patrioticism. first of I would like to speak how most of the people in the novel have Chinese names, be it people from foreign races, monsters, the MC subjects(which the majority don’t comes from the same planet), and even the statues in the ancestral hall(special building he received as a feward from an event), literally all the ancestors are Chinese, having only mentioned 2 western scientists/creators once as a passing idea, I would like to reinforce in the mentioning, earth also seem to exists in the primordial universe, for those that don’t know that is the world Pengu(similar to God from Christianity) created, there are no mentioning of other mythologies excepts for the Chinese and there probably never will, the beauties(love interest and most of the other good looking woman) in the novel are all described as Chinese beauties, there is a clear favoritism toward Chinese ethnicity in this novel as seen in how he favors cerulean planet lords that have Chinese appearance(EVEN THOUGH THE ONLY CHINESE PERSON MENTJONED TILL CHAPTER 900 IS THE MC).
I was nearly forgetting it, the f#cking patriotism doesn’t end it there, at some point in time the whole human population in the high continent have Chinese names and are mostly qi practioners and other murim related professions, at this point you can literally treat them as f#cking china as they insist in making everyone in the world baddies with the intention of extermination humankind, and the only good guys are the elves and humanity(at this point china) allies.

Edit: forgot to mention about the “HE”, “HIS” and “HIM” thing, which is a respectful way of mentioning a god spirit, one would expect the author to stop using it once the MC reached the level of god spirit, as it only makes thing more complicated and have us guessing the gender of the god spirit until the author commits a blunder, but no, at the point of which I’ve read the author don’t stop using it.

Nah it's good actually I usually don't like these types but this one for some reason just feels good way better than others in this gener give it a try and scroll past any numbers or whatever loots it doesn't matter much they'll explanation all the important ones later

[FR] Je suis actuellement au chapitre 574, c’est un novel agréable à lire mais qui demande beaucoup de patience. Malheureusement l’auteur ce répète beaucoup trop pour des choses qui n’ont plus ou peu d’importance, j’en suis venu à juste sauter ces lignes qui n’apporte aucune importance au récit. J’en viens même à me demander si l’auteur d’ailleurs ne ce trompe pas lui même à force.

it's dogshit. The author makes a point of listing absolutely every little thing the MC loots to bloat the word count, it feels like reading a cross between the yellow pages and viagra spam mail; in two words, mind numbing. I have no idea how this novel made it to nearly 4 stars. 40 chapters in I want to end it already
