Emperor! Can You See Stats!?황제! 스탯이 보인다?

i disliked this novel half way but finished it just to claim i did so for a legitimate review. similar to other k-novels all the bad habits are present:

1- introduces many characters with the expressed purpose of MCs stepping stone either emotionally or physically, either friend or foe. all just discarded or forgotten with a sentence.
2- Chew toy excessive onamatopoeia, every move or attack is a TTS nightmare and at one point the sword even squeaked wth?
3- similar to characters, the story also gets discarded when theres lack of interest (happens when the novel isnt planned). The ending here is like a late student in the middle of a traffic underail station pushing and shoving everyone/thing desperately until the exit; shoving characters out of the story, discards love interest in a single battle, ditched all friends to a new continent, dismissed a god saying she just left, an authority figure suggests MC to ring out the last boss which the MC defeats with a paragraph of heavily scented plot power//END//.

Simply the whole novel suffers from having no real direction or plan. plot was just rolling and right when it starts to pick up momentum, author either got bored or fed up with the stress and starts introducing VR capsule worlds, video feeds to a character thats needed to end story, disniss all story elements that can be used to extend or expand the story.

2.5/5 story dies right when nuada stops acting like a cheiftan of the whole north. its where ny suspicions started and when skipping is a norm. its excessively vain, shallow, and self fish way of writing: building a character. [not story because author only cared about building up MC].

MCs previous life would make a better story even with a bad ending.

P.S there are repeated chapters and missing parts of chapters as well. but thats this sites prob.

Story-wise, the novel was okay. It teetered around being barely above passable. The world-building was decent. As were most of the characters. But some aspects of the writing really fell short.

The dialogue was almost always somewhere between bad to unbearable. There were numerous scene changes that came with zero context, making the story confusing to follow. In addition, it often felt like context and perhaps entire paragraphs were missing, which may have been the case or may have been the result of bad writing. And the translator was borderline inept, often changing how a character's name was spelled from chapter to chapter (including the MC's), or just not translating numerous terms that he had no reason not to translate. Seeing massive words like "Janggangsuropalsipcha" clogging up the wordspace was so absurd it was almost comical.

I found some parts of the novel very tedious. And overall I would not consider this a great read. It had a lot of potential, including a pretty interesting premise. But the delivery fell flat.

Standard plot
Side characters exist to remind us about how mc was before regression and after that praise the mc.
Mc become one of the strongest humans in the (so far) know world
Schemes against MC are ok.
Overall read it only in emergencies

This Novel isn't an amazing gem but it's pretty decent if you want to just enjoy a journey and get lost in another world without too much thought or emotional baggage.

Its difficult to find an unpolished diamond like this nowadays. I almost achieved breakthrough with my Dao of poison testing..
