it reads like a ADHD attention seeked collaboration between author and mc. any details, transitions, lore, story, setting, background, personal development, etc are nonexistent or skipped.

it reads like a compilation of bad jokes, faceslaps, and attention whring activities. no doubt bad translation is involved but probrably only half the culprit.

Ive read until around ch 260 as of now and while the novel is fun and all with heavy touches of violence and gore, it seems to satisfies the edge lord in me😭😭. Tho i sometimes feel bad for the mc's enemies anf those who end up a victim because of how unreasonable he is. The sects (until ive read) are basically modern day countries disguised as sects. The magnificent flame sect the mc belongs to is obviously china and the sunshine sect is japan. Both the sects are currently at war. The sunshine sect is obviously bad, evil, cruel and foolish to go against the almighty magnificent flame sect. The human-hybrid experiments sect probably refer to how the japanese used to experiment on chinese captives. The elephant god sect is probably india and the titan sect is most likely nepal. The dynamics between titan sect and magnificent flame sect seems to be from 200 years ago. This can be inferred since back then nepal acted as a sort of buffer between the imperial china and the colonised india. The titan sect is somewhat similar. But ofc the magnificent flame sect's superiority is made known and every titan sect citizen is indoctrinated to believe in it and conditioned to be grateful to be supported by them since they're pretty much a waste in everything. The barely disguised nationalism is what ticked me off but its not so much that i cant ignore.

It's not a serious novel or anything amazing but it was enjoyable. I read till chapter 329 but MTL started around the early 300s and it just finished the immersion for me so I had to give it up.
The MC is such a shameless guy and he makes very good use of his immortality.

3.9 stars is an apt score. This novel's premise is based on the mc being immortal. One might think that it makes the novel boring if the mc has no fear of death...but how about the other novels? Don't you already know, that in the vast majority of books that exist out there, the mc always lives till the end? Keeping that in mind, it's always fun to see the mc jump headfirst into adversity, and pulling off shenanigans such as being a suicide bomber or using a forbidden technique that devours all his life for a single punch....only to come back to life 10 seconds later.
It's basically a gorefest, and the fights are extremely visceral. The author is a bit lazy, he made the mc a bit dumb and simplistic. What the mc loves the most is punching people, so despite having an omnipotent system, he doesn't strive to learn everything in existence and only learns body refining techniques instead. Of course, it's still fun, if a bit basic, bordering on the repetitive. Either his enemies get fisted to death, or they blow the mc up, only to find out later the mc can't die.
My only gripe with this novel, is that it should have ended a long time ago, if this novel was only around 800 chapters long, it would have been better.
In conclusion, a fun novel to pass the time, not to be taken seriously. It's another one of Xin Feng's novels, he always names the main character Lin Fan, so if you're familiar with his other novels, you know what to expect: overpowered cheat, over-the-top action with ridiculous humorous situations, along with some face-slapping, basically his formula.

Psycho ass mc under the name of comedy. Fu#king hell this guy makes Fang Yuan look like his little brother. Evil cultivators that skin people are horrified by the ways this mf kills people. He f#cking uses a mace to mash them into a patty. And yes he believes in gender equality so everyone no matter how ugly or beautiful gets the same treatment. We need more MCs like this.

This series is finished, I'm currently at 900+ chapters and yeah, the s/he translation is bad but apart from that, it's very readable. It's very "tonal", that's why even tho the MC deserves nothing with his progression, he is OP MC pretty much from start to finish, it's fine.

It's a comedy and it leans heavily towards the absurd characteristics of the MC and his master to a certain degree and it's pretty tonally consistent. You're not encouraged by the author to take things seriously and so you'll have a more accepting disposition when things are going idiot and just be there for the ride, basically. As an example, the MC's hobby is to set off "fireworks" which are people he'd throw then punch to explosion. That's the type of work you'll be reading.

It's decently executed imo.
