Being stuck in a game nobody leaves doesn’t sound half bad to Cain. He was a high school dropout with a drinking problem, living off disability due to his poor health, so it’s not like he had much to lose except a few faithful friends he didn’t talk to enough.

After a long night of drinking, Cain wakes up looking at what he believes to be the character creation screen of one of his beloved virtual reality games, but with no recollection of having purchased it. Choosing Random Character Creation, not knowing the choice would be irreversible sends him into this new world as a Puppet Master, a Summoning based class nobody else has heard of.

But as he soon realizes, this is no game, him and hundreds of others have been brought to another world with no instructions, no clear goals and no way home. It’s a second chance to live a good life, but what will Cain be able to make of it? Collapse

    It definetly feels more like a story draft or outline than something proper.
    It's somewhat decent, but there's a lot of pretty stupid moves that everyone close to the MC do
    and his entire party are female, though so far he's only in a relationship with 1 of them, so idk if i'd classify it a harem.

    His party members are all surprisingly basic tbh. Like they have very different backgrounds and races etc, but they all jut care about baths/hot springs, clothes, shopping and cute/fluffy things. It's kinda annoying that MC just goes along with it for things which are important for him as well.


    The premise itself is very interesting. A world where there's tons of people from all sorts of normal worlds, all summoned into this game like one with a (fairly basic) system.

    Overall i think if you enjoy a more slice of life/less dungeon or questing type of novel and don't mind it feeling like a draft or outline, then you will probably enjoy it.

    Personally i think they spend way too much time just messing around or celebrating things for me to carry on anymore.

    This novel has 2 sides to it. Either you like it or you dislike it there is no middle. This novel in my opinion hasn't really got a story atleast up to where I am and it's more of a slice of life following mc and his group running through dungeons and also just casual chapters of them chilling

    Let's start with the "bad". I can for sure agree that this book is more of a draft. This means, there are some small scale plot holes (nothing major imo), there are things that need explaining yet remain unexplained for no apparent reason, there are things of importance that are skipped or ignored etc. Also, there is a lack of "effort" from the characters' side, meaning everything just seems too easy for the entirety of the story, like nothing can go wrong, for example, even though death is a real thing in that world, no character we know of and care about has ever come even close to actually dying, this might be off putting for most of you and is understandably so.

    Now, to the "good". The concept is very much to my liking. People have been getting summoned to this world for the past 200ish years and from different worlds than earth too from what we know. They along with some if not most of the inhabitants of said world get the same system as the MC, meaning that most of the characters we meet are quite powerful compared to normal people, although the reason he is op is based off of his class (and plot armor, but i digress). The story is enjoyable to say the least, think of it more of a slice of life with adventuring aspects to keep you interested rather than the other way around.

    All in all, i would say give it a try if you are waiting on other novels because it definitely isn't trash and could very well be one you like, or not, i can't choose for you.

      I just found out today comparing all the free WN chapters with ones I could find on here/other places. They are completely different, you might as well be reading an actual first draft/outline with all the paragraphs that are cut out. It's like a different story.

    100 chapter review. It can be considered neither exciting nor boring. My honest review is that this seems like you are reading a raw outline that the author is coming back later to flush out the characters, scenes/world-building, and straight-up fights. If you love immersion, I would say, put this on a back-burner, or if you require a palate cleanser for a few days then this isn't bad. It progresses fast enough with each dungeon speed run that has new and interesting power-ups to keep you interested while avoiding certain cliches that tend to read in comments for dropping. (Coward mc / face-slapping / that one antagonist readers can't forgive but mc can / etc.) Overall I'd give it a classic down the middle 3.

      I was going to write a similar review at 100. 4.5/5 ⭐

      It feels like a fast-paced slice of life? Most characters are "summoned/trapped" into a VRMMO, but it doesn't have the feel of Sword Art Online. Most of the characters are likeable, and the story seems to be a bit on the cheery side.

      This definitely isn't one of those face slapping or MC returns from the past after betrayed by his best friend etc..

      Chapter 200 update... It will still feel like the story board of the novel, not a lot of fleshed out bits. Still not bad. Random characters keep getting shipped though, it's not a novel where the MC gets 200 harem members just other chars getting together.

    Oh this WN is good. The story is very very simple MC is like your typical normal adventurer where he and his team raid dungeons. It is smooth sailing there are also up and downs, no face slapping. This WN is so relaxing to read.

    Well, I would have loved to give the novel at least 4* stars. BUT: The authors just tells the story, without any explanations and hints. Everything is just a fact. No real stats or skill descriptions.
    The world feels boring and you just get pushed from one scene to the next without reason. Much is repeated all the time. And everything without any explanations.

    poor writing skill. dont know how mc look like dont know how mc surrounding environment look like dont know what country he is in nor any common sense of the country he is in. the author forgot to write or dont bother with detail at all.Overall newbie in the field of writing,short chapter,character ok but lack of life cause of no detail,plot average,personality of character average,not so boring character nor have any unique personality.Story development take the path of daily life type but lack of writing skill and creative idea make boring.average plot cause there is nothing to be looking for future since reader could easily guess the plot but still readable and there is a chance of turning back as the time pass and author writing skill become better.recommend for casual reading.
