Like I said who cares about it if you dont like it or not? According to britannica dictionary, "edgy" could mean harsh and unkind quality, could also be irritable. Understandable now? Edgy is just a short term to use for characters who are negatively emotional so that most readers could at least get the point. What are you so over sensitive about?

Thats a vague and ridiculous way of describing the MC and if you really read the mtl, you and I know he's never like that in the first place. I read your comment first about your jesus stuff before i read the novel that got me nearly avoiding this novel. What jesus stuff are you talking about? MC is ruthless, cunning and calculative, but his ideas for world building is what makes him savior.

Self harming journey that forced from enemies to the place of redemption where his suffering make other ppls want to live, the place he 'reborn' and start new life?
"Air i breath full of suffering and i feel it for them" or smth like this line was literally wrote.
He suffer for our sins... Well knowed words that can good describe mc's decisions while arc i said.

Because everyone used it to replace more meanings than it's definition. Just like toxic, when toxic could be person who tell truth very kindly and carefully or toxic could be cursing machine gun that ruin communication place.
But ok, i get your point and even can say that i'm was wrong a little. English not my native and when i was look for edgy definition google say only about "nervous" and "sharp, exciting quality" (waybackmashine approved) and mostly i met this word as "behaviour of teenager that want establish domination" or smth similar, but now every dictionary has only one def that you write. Look like i'm loose point when new meanings of this word became official from slang but my point still stand and ppls use it as they like and what they want to say needed to guess.

Moreover edgy (unkind meaning) more like negative, derogatory characteristic. I was want to say that this novel mc need to decrease of selfless lvl in second part to achieve 10/10 from me. But you write like mc could be "disgusting person on mindless beast lvl" or what we get in novel.
