With the appearance of the ferocious beasts and hideous monsters, humanity was on the verge of extinction.

With the help of their newly awakened talents, the humans started fighting the monsters and beasts on their own.

That’s the beginning of a new chapter in human history as humans started becoming heroes.

In such a world, a 12-year-old kid was framed for theft and the murder of his adoptive parents by some powerful heroes.

Furthermore, they even planned to kill him and make his body disappear to avoid future trouble.

However, after 10 years, he returned to the city with a different name to take revenge against those so-called powerful heroes while trying to find out the reason behind the death of his adoptive parents.

    Okay so

    I've read this upto 150+ chapters and the story is simple actually just like CN cheap copy pasta xianxia troupe.

    Lousy past -> gets cheatcode -> offend youngmasters and uncles -> swore revenge -> collect girls and loots -> and repeat again on offending people.

    But this one had no harem instead lemme change it and the story goes like this:

    Lousy past -> gets cheatcode -> swore revenge -> saving forgettable and useless characters-> collect talents -> and repeat again from saving 2d background characters.

    Overall haaaizt there are so many chapters but it's repetitive so I'm gonna give this a solid 2/5★

        Copying is legit my favorite ability. You can impose as many limitations on it and it'll still be OP.

        You can give it a maximum duration and maximum number of abilities in that duration.
        You can make it that only one ability can be kept at a time.
        You can even tie it to the will of the original holder.
        You can even make it work on continued physical contact.
        You can even restrict the level/tier/grade of ability that can be copied.
        You can even give it a reasonably long cooldown.
        You can just make it the automatic first ability seen in the morning.
        You can restrict it to only techniques under one broad manipulation, i.e. All the things that can be done with wind manipulation specifically but not fire manipulation can be copied.

        Most of these can be countered by sealing or imprisonment or just directly avoiding or negating the copy requirement.

        I just like that some characters are not limited to using one ability or they have one extremely versatile ability. It makes every fight different works well for unknown copied abilities of the antagonists.

        The issue is authors giving the ability almost no limitations and can then have ass-pull abilities at convenient times.


        Manifest, Copy, Shapeshifting quirk in My hero are done well because they are fairly restricted.
        All For One works well for a villain/antagonist though it only has the touch limitation because it's thrilling to actually not knowing the abilities a Copier brings into a fight so MC will strategize.

        Is there a character in any media who absorbs life force instead and becomes nigh-immortal and can endlessly regenerate as long as their immense accumulated life force remains?

          Copy type abilities was my favorite before but it become boring after couple of it. Such abilities too much overused. Authors who used it just doesn't want to use their brain to build proper mc's battle system (i'm about set of moves that cover all possible situations). They just put new ability everytime mc meet new situation and don't explore abilities in depth. And most ridiculous when mc miraculously master any copied ability instantly
          So copy abilities half step higher than plain punching where mc put every point in str only.

          Good novels not about skills. There are not strongest skills, only users. Even healing without any addition properties can kill by causing eruption of hormones leading to heart stop.
