      Personally speaking i don't think author is the extreme sort of racist.
      I mean you can't expect a Chinese or
      any novelist to not write good things abt their own country.
      Also if you see, even if the author has brought a bit of nationalism into it....he has only brought in the ri8 amount. It's not at the level toxicity.
      And I have read multiple novels which had made me drop in disgust due to the level of racism the author brought in.
      Like there was a novel (theme: chat group with god's in it) bro, the mc went over and made Japan into his playground and travelled to usa and made the top echelons of the country into his slaves.....that's toxic racism.
      The novelist of this novel tho has told good things abt china but he also magnified the bad side too.
