      Apparently it is in hiatus. However I dont see much hope in this novel ever being completed. It started being written in 2012, and later on the quality and release rate started to drop, If I'm not mistaken the author took several brakes, I'm not sure of his circumstances, but at this point I dont think he has the drive to finish It up. To be honest It's surprising there is someone still translating it.

              My Augmented Statuses Have Unlimited Duration -> you have to endure about 20 or so chapters, then it gets good.

              Paragon of sin -> the first couple chapters may throw you off, but if you persevere you might be gladly surprised with the story later on.

              Lord of the mysteries -> not a cultivation novel but somewhat fits your requirement of a powerful and intelligent mc. If you have not read it yet I strongly recomend it.

              There is also Warlock of the magus world and Reverend insanity that fits your criteria, but in these last 2 the MC is more like a villain than hero. Especially the MC of reverend insanity, he is extremely selfish and evil. But if you dont mind that it will be a great story for you.

              My disciples are all villains -> I find this one quite good, but dont see many people talking about it. You may give it a try.

              Eternal sacred king and legend of futian, these two are more like the tipical xianxia novel, (dont hope for inteligent MC here) but if you are searching for something to pass time, they are not so bad. I turn off my critical mind and just enjoy it. :D

              I don't know If you have already read them, but those are the ones I can remember at the moment.

                Hey dude just read your recommendations and not gonna lie I already read them all except the typical ones, my disciples are all villains and Lord of mysteries (couldn't get into the story). As for recommendations I'm currently reading Ending Maker, good novel, smart MC, good romance, with some good comedy ngl it had me laugh not just a few times

      Mc's got 1 female character who's pretty much attached to his hip as his partner and stays on par strengthwise from the start of the story, tho she's technically not a harem member since they haven't banged (yet). Other than that I want to say he's got ~5ish recurring female characters in his "harem" but he's very up front about the fact that he's not going to expend extra effort to bring them along in his travels/cultivation journey, so they pretty much just stay within their own spheres/regions of influence unless the plot organically leads the MC to run into one of them.

      Occasionally the MC will intervene to help them with one or another personal problem they might be experiencing, but those problems are always unique to whatever plot thread said harem member is a part of and never devolve into the typical "oh no, some random prince/sect disciple/powerful family is trying to steal my beautiful wife #(x)" bullsh*t that causes harems to drag other novels down.
