I found the mtl of this on accident and I'm trying to resist binging it because I know that if I do I will stop reading this completely.

I've been reading the mtl and I'm already at chapter 900+ Ye Feng still didn't die and still got 40% protagonist luck.

Mc collecting pokemon from chapter 400-900 and confrontations with the protagonist sums to a total of 10-15 chapters. Like 100 chaptes per girl in how to get full favorability to unlock a new system feature. I thought that a new protagonist will come up soon but nah Mc boiling Ye Feng in a pot which is similar to boiling a frog.

The way the s*x scenes get portrayed is awkward like mutton jade, suet jade, ice cream, rising dragon, battlefield or just briefly get summarized in 3-5 sentences when the build up took 100 chapters to get to that part.

The routine is rinse and repeat. All the great achievements of the Mc basically gets reset everytime the Mc goes to a new event/party with a heroine and for someone whose looks is unparalleled with matching identity and talents to be easily forgetable is irritating especially when half of the chapters describes him as Mr. Perfect. Every time he goes to places his looks gets mention which eats up 20%-30% of the chapter, heroine 10%-20%, his self dialogue about how everything is with his plan 20% and 5% about the actual plan, and the rest flirty moments with heroins with dialogue of his understanding of them which he mentions every 1-3 chapters and maybe 1% on how to deal with Ye Feng the soldier king. Imagine 900+ in and mc struggling with a third rate soldier king and how he plans to keep up with cultivator protagonist with years of experience and luck. 1000+ chapters per protagonist

This novel has a big problem, and that is the translator, this dude translated 110 chapters in 180 days/6 months, that is beyond pathetic, this novel is the kind of novel you binge-read all night, but the terrible translation speed is a slap in the face, WTB NEW TRANSLATOR.

holy crap the first villain hero isn't even dead yet. the only thing slower than the plot is the release rate

Slow update or dropped?

I like this novel at start, I like how MC keep scheming and blocking the protagonist way but after chapter 400-ish it feel like dropping in quality, everything become drama and daily life of MC and his harem and wasted 10-20 chapters just to tell the story of MC with one of the girl and the next 10-20 chapters with different girl and then tens of chapters with another and so-on..

While the main confict with the protagonist just become filler with only few chapters between hundreds chapter of MC's dramas.. I thought after the system say the MC can upgrade the system and his stat by moving to another storyline/new protagonist after solving the first one and make the plots become faster but after reading till chapter 766 right now there still no sign that the protagonist will be defeated, even the protag barely seen in the story now..

Too many drama. Too many heroines but no actual relationship so far. Villian(MC) act like protagonist and protagonist(Soldier King) act like 3rd rate young master.Dropped at ch-143.
