    You know this book would've been a lot better without all the arrogant masters like it's overused in this one compared to others the mc can just be minding his own business and he somehow offends somebody especially after he entered the sect and every sect elder he came across was trying to "teach him how to respect his elders" if I was in a sect and got treated like that despite my talent and usefulness I'd have left long ago. and the worst part is that he can effectively make these elders' lives expire but doesn't because well......idk(naivety)
    Also why so many op servants mc wants to experience the true cultivation world yet travels around with an obnoxious child and a fire bird that can one shot all his foes but doesn't because well.......idk(MCs naivety)
    I see a lot of people say MCs naivete is justified considering his circumstances of being used, crippled, blind, treated like dogs hit because of last two points yet still doesn't understand how cruel human nature can be and still acts naive it isn't matter of factly
    Overall I'd probably give this a 3/10 but later chapters got better after divine paragon shit so I'd give it a 5-6/10

        he nvr really matured, unless you count having a fire bird touch his oohlala as maturing... From then on he pretty much seek any female acquantance to.. his "friends" that he cares about that he "likes".

        I know the above description targets from anything to his favourite crayon but atleast hes aiming for humanoids only after puberty.

      Yeah My Little Brother (the author) has become notorious for dropping his current novels to write something new. Problem is all his novels start great but drag the further you get, also each one is very similar just changing the setting or genre. This was his second novel and stooped to a snails pace right around chapter 800 just like his first novel Dual Cultivation.

    other than the author being a huge sellout, which i think hurts the novel a lot, some of the writing of dialogue is really, painfully bland. felt like most characters talk the exact same, show no personality, etc. especially when giving mc info.

    overall, i do think the story is genuinely good, but those factors hurt it a lot for me, makes it hard to want to pick up again

    i see the novel further devolved to the point i can just read the chapter titles and be perfectly caught up fully without missing a thing. More than having abyssmal word count, chapters now have no substance as well.
