It was amazing while it lasted...

I already felt highly suspicious with the quality of the writing when it first came out. It doesn't look like a writing that fits a webnovel; It's more of those published ones, every chapter was opened with a highly organized intro, Author already develop his own style of describing things... there're always 3, how it felt, how it sounds, and how it seems.

Everything is just so consistent. It felt like Stephen King went undercover and published the book using an unknown name.

Dropped at ch106, first half was good but mc character is too emotional/beta to continue for me, very frustrating after reading to many cold blooded Chinese mcs

World building is really tier 1 good, from what I remember the story makes it seem like MC is going to be really special and smart but he suddenly turns emotional and have morals to hold him back. It's fine if he was like that from the beginning or a one off but I endured it for 30ch before it got too much. Honestly it's worth reading just because it was one of the best for the first 50-70 ch

    Ends on chapter 162.

As many veterans have said, this novel is pretty good in a narratively way. Catches the realistic environment of a apocalyptic situation. The dialogue is very mature.

Plot flow is Cinematic in 1st half and rushed in 2nd half.

This novel may mildly frustrate newbie readers hence it's recommended for more veterans. Even i was frustrated alot in the 2nd half(Ch80 to 140). But it's ok as I've walked the dao of reading for years. So i take narratives at their purest forms.

That's why AVOID if you absolutely hate Dark, TRAGIC PASTS of characters.

I geniunely like this novel.... wtf... Every parts of it really screams EXPERIENCED AUTHOR.

The characters... how each one resembles actual humans.
The interactions... it's basically telling me it's not done by an Author where human interaction is a rarity.
The narrations when the approaching a setting and describing it... the easy to understand writing quality plus the humor here and there that's not targeted for kids. Oh my god... this is it. This is the dose of a god damn good novel that I've been looking for in a while.

    I simply love it...

This Author is literally the level I aspire to be on so many aspects of.
The guy had 10 years of writing published novels...
No wonder it's a whole different level entirely.

Reminds of the bots having a conversation under a youtube video about economics.

Nah man, The novel is genuinely good. Well it was. Unless the author had idk some kind of problem and decided to end the novel early deciding to rush it.

If you like a story of an mc with a wannabe hero complex mentality then I would strongly recommend it to you, as for me it's a NO! NO! NO!

what do you mean? The only thing heroic here is mc trying his hardest to save the human race from extinction(which is normal bc he's a human), it's not like the mc made a fuss about all the massacre going around, he didn't even raise his voice when a portion of new york's population died.

Exactly. He is just trying to survive while making sure that humanity doesn't go extinct. MC has no hero complex. He is just a responsible dude who is trying his best to survive. He won't go out of his way putting his life at risk to save others

suck my nuts... if u want to read that same one concept? Then just re-read that same one novel.

U don't take any variations? Then, suck my nuts with all ur heart clinging tradition like a fcking 80 year old man who will lose all their assets for simply sticking to that same one trick.

Time change old man... u don't like new things?? Then stick to ur times; bury urself 6 feet under.
