I enjoyed this one a lot, mc is a master manipulator and actually acts like a person with that much life experience. The characters are varied and easy to get attached to. Plus the harem is incredibly well done as is the narration and worldbuilding. The chapters start out very short but starting chapter 50, the gradually get longer. The story is divided by volumes each dealing with a different country and new characters, but of course since almost everybody in the cast is able to teleport we get a lot of recurring characters, so it's nice. The mc has a weak body but he excels in martial arts, magic, and many many other disciplines, still he only uses them when it's time to show off or get an advantage, and mainly makes use of his knowledge to deal with the enemies. He's like a game veteran who knows almost all hidden secrets of the world, characters minds, personalities, ambitions and powers. He knows exactly what to do to achieve his goals with minimal effort and resources, to the point that he seems almost omniscient. It's really fun to watch his plan come to fruition and how he "tames" the different demigods that used to be his enemies.

I read this a while ago, the author is a smart guy.

One of the best novels out there, once you read it you'll get more and more hooked into it. Truly a masterpiece!

I am disappointed that it is not R-18 novel. And I am not trying to make every novel R-18 but this novel had good premise to have s*x scenes, and not having it feels like author skipped it and feels like we missed something

Finally! A chinese novel that isn’t racist, nationalistic, pretentious, waist-brained, or generally shit!

There is some harem elements but it is not the classic “see pretty lady, lose pretty lady, find pretty lady, kill a dozen generations to get pretty lady, f#ck pretty lady, leave pretty lady, repeat for 10,000,000,000 years” that Chinese novels tend to have.

The incest in the novel has a historical and thematically acceptable pretext to it so there isn’t really an issue there. The story does have a few plot armour(it is more of a useful happening than blatant plot armour) like situations with the “kinks” of some of the “Divine beings” but there is a reasonable explanation behind it.

I would prefer more background info but there is enough that you won’t be confused about what is happening. The author seems to have a decent hold on pacing and foreshadowing which isn’t seen much with online novels.

The grammar is on par with most english light/web novels you would find on similar sites. I have some issues over certain word choices but they are more semantical arguments about translation. Nothing big that would affect your reading experience much so that is a bonus.

Overall the premise is good and has about the same level of execution. If you have nothing else to read then this would be nice, but it’s not like you would miss out if you didn’t read it.
