it reads like invisible dragon without the joke. every living thing must pay attention to MC since hes "visible", even if they are just passing by; and they all must have an opinion too like the world revolves around mc. MCs childish thoughts is on par with the retarded fabled invisible dragon novel.

If you're looking for a mind-numbingly generic xianxia which follows all of the cliches, this isn't a bad choice. Be warned though, it has all of the standard problems of a xianxia: Random faceslapping, token harems which will only ever be captured by other people to give the MC motivation, random genocides of entire powers because everyone is insane in xianxias, etc...

Despite this, it's quite good if you're looking for something like this, so long as you don't expect any uniqueness from the author.

One of the worst cultivation novel ever written by a human being...
It's literally a mix-up of everything that's annoying in the genre and accentuate it.

MC is the personification of arrogance and brashness. I don't think anyone else ever created an MC that stupid and crazy. The cultivation is nothing special. It's average, like 90% of novels. A lot of cringy attacks, names with no substance. Just another boring aspect of this book.

Regarding the plot, I strongly advise you not to search it. There's none. We're going from a stupid situation to another. EVERYTHING is made to create a face-slapping situation, so I don't think you can find a single chapter where there isn't a stupid young master. These characters constitute 70% of people in the novel...
What a shitty world to live in....
The worst is probably the fights resulting of these encounters. There is a lengthy and painful escalation where the young master calls the outer elder who are calling the inner elder and then the core elder and then the sect master and then the great elder and then the hidden elder and then back-up of the sect. All of that in three chapters, knowing that the MC offends on average 20 young masters in the same time.
HELLISH.
Finally, MC's relatives are having the hardest times in the history of novels.
Each time, Chen Fan disappears for 3 months, the entire world decides that the guy is probably dead, so what are they doing ? They will betray his family, cripples them, etc...
It's happening so often I stopped counting.
Anyway, I will use the most used word in this novel to resume it : it's TRASH...

This deserves a continuation, as it is the best novel of its kind i believe .
The reincarnated back to earth, modern world which transits slowly into the cultivation world type of novel i mean.
I really like this genre but honestly all the novels of this kind have some major writing problems.
Usually some of these problems are too much racism, face slapping,useless trophylike harem, or the transition from modern world to cultivation world which alwaays makes the novel drop a few levels in quality.

Anyway, some of the reasons this novel is better than others of its kind are for example :[i][/i]

1) It has no blatant racism. Although the MC literally goes apeshit on USA, japan, russian, and others, but i wouldnt call it racism, since he also goes full apeshit on Chinese natives as well. He basically kills and tortures anyone who gets on his bad side regardless of nationallity. He isnt like most MC's in these modern world novels, where they just go bat-crazy when they are out of China, and kill and humiliate everyone for no reason. This is one of the plus.
2)Another plus point is, that there is no useless harem where the girls accumulate like trophies for the MC to show how badass he is. Im not against harem, just most of these type of novels really suck at delivering it. In this novel the MC has feelings for only 1 woman(at least currently), with some potential love interests.
3)The transition to cultivation world is done beautifully and the quality doesnt drop. In every novel i've read that goes from modern world to cultivation world, the quality noticeably drops, and the authors always rush the ending because they cannot write a good continuation. This one doesnt suffer from anything like that.
4)The MC. Yes, he is literally full badass. And not the kind of hypocrite badass we see in many novels that has to justify his action as morally right before they kill someone. In here, the MC will fcking kill anyone who poses a threat to him or his family, without exeptions. He will not try to justify the mass slaughter, he will just fcking do it.
Love this about the MC.

These are few good things i remember about this novel since its been a long time i last read this, and if you are into this type of genres(Reincaranted back to earth, and then slowly goes back to cultivation world), i suggest you give this a try.
Currently its the best one i have found.
