Not a bad novel, not good either. As many have commented the story is full of cliches, however there are a few interesting and unique characteristics that I really like… for example becoming a dragon! No not by using a divine art or anything similar, he actually became a dragon, and well as a great fan of this mystical creature I always had the dream of becoming one, but as I live a boring and repetitive reality it simply isn’t possible, therefore I need to resort to his types of novel to entertain myself. Anyway this novel Is really good in its writing quality and quite good at its story development(when compared with most novels out there), the weak point is in its world development and the MC being basically a standard Chinese MC, great thing tho is that he isn’t really patriotic(at least till the part I read, around chapter 600).

Overall a good read, my rating is 3.7

Edit: at 650 there is a bit of Chinese patriotism, but it’s so small compared with others that one can ignore it. + at around 690 there seem to be a change to MTL, I hope it will change back. Current novel evaluation: 3.2

Edit: Chapter 1090, MC starts becoming a save the hero idiot and translation gets a bit worse, strugling to keep on going as the MC personality is irking me and his personality is deviating too mcuh from what it was suposed to be. Current novel evaluation: 2.7

One excellent way to read this is, whenever you see some chapters with numbers beside the chapter title, First-grade Restaurant vs Longxuan Restaurant (3) for example, flip directly to the last chapter of the list.
It usually has (END) beside it.

Just a Chinese urban novel, nothing new, nothing original, just a copy. It started in an original way, until chapter 50 everything was interesting and new, but after that, one gets the impression that the author was replaced or urine hit him in the head.
The usual ubiquitous young masters without brains appeared, stupid villains, plot armor thicker than Thanos (for example, he received a technique for controlling marine animals and suddenly, passing by a restaurant, an aquarium breaks in it "completely by accident" and then our mc comes to the rescue, etc. etc. etc.), etc. that you can find in a bunch of crappy Chinese novels.
If you are not embarrassed by villains without Mogs and a lot of slaps in the face (and these slaps are a collection of clichés of all Chinese urban novels), also incomprehensible people who for some reason comment on everything in a row, every act of mc. Senseless arrogance mc, then you can read. Not badly written, if you are reading for the first time or are big fans of clichés and slaps in the face as well as arrogant mc's, you can read it. But if you can't stand the poison and you feel like vomiting from such novels, then don't even try to read this novel. All the originality of the novel is in the technique of cultivating the dragon, but the problem is that the plot about it is only ~ 2% of the whole novel, the rest is cliché like a university, slapping in the face, "pretending to be a pig"
It is very difficult to find something positive because I am biased, and when I see how the author merges the good beginning of the novel into such "ordinary" shit, then only a bad impression immediately arises and the novel drops. (I read up to chapter 345), then the amount of poison exceeded the norm and I died, I am writing from the world of spirits.

The novel is not very good. My rating is about 2/5. I stopped reading. Note that I read chapter 350. I do not advise you to read it because it is the same events. Every little bit the hero someone insults him, and then the hero slaps him

it's just another face slapping, I'm better then everyone Chinese novel.
From the name I honestly thought this would be like "Myth Beyond Heaven" or some other cultivation system novel but it literally is just the mc repeatedly one-upping everyone and showing how ignorant young masters are everywhere.

Plot is weird, medical knowledge is made up along with a weird fishing simulator story for the first 100 chapters.

Mc is the biggest a-hole and childish for no reason as well, but somehow I'm still reading it because I'm that bored...

I really appreciate how mc's companions don't awaken to a super powerful bloodline out of nowhere like other novels, but the mc gives them the talent needed to accompany him, even tho it's a little forced how he gets these things, at least it's more satisfactory than otherwise.
