A college student was returning home after studying abroad for several years when the end of the world happened. A dragon appeared out of nowhere and attacked the plane he was in, thanks to an incredible amount of luck and his quick-thinking, he managed to survive the plane crash only to get stuck on a tropical island.

A weird system took over the world and brought monsters to Earth. While nations collapsed and the world as a whole was being destroyed by ridiculous monsters, Leon was stuck in a godforsaken island with no chances of being rescued. What will happen to him? How will the world change while he is away? Will he even manage to return? Collapse

Starting was decent. It becomes shit after mc escapes the island and interacts with humans. He should be able to again travel to his country but he doesn't. Instead he wastes a lot of time helping noobs just so that they can find another way for him to go home. The writing in these parts is bad, as with any urban cultivation novels.

As others mentioned, the island part was pretty good, but with one issue that is one of my biggest pet peeves in these sorts of novels. Be warned the rest of this ended up just being a rant because I agree with what the rest are saying.

Will admit up front that I don't know if the MC ever realizes his stupidity in later chapters and corrects his mistake. He has a status panel and is able to train the stats as well as put points into them. One of the stats is Luck. His Luck stat starts off at 1, and when he leaves the island his Luck stat is still 1. Maybe another 100-200 chapters later when I dropped it his luck stat was still 1. His reasoning? "I know what the rest of the stats can do, so I'll focus on them! Luck is too nebulous." Like, holy shit does it piss me off to no end when MCs ignore luck. And they all do! You have magic and monsters suddenly appear in your world. It's time to start believing luck can be a real thing and that being lucky can be really useful. You're stuck on a deserted island for years having to figure out everything yourself. You think potentially having some super good item fall from the sky or wash up on your shore, or having a lucky epiphany to come up with some super useful skill would be less useful than having a bit more HP or stamina? And unlike every other stat, he never figured out how to train luck, which just makes it more obvious he should put his extra stat points into luck.

I dropped this. Chapters full of "skill learned!" "skill leveled up!" .. Was maddening.

read up to chapter 400, the start of the novel is great and it really is interesting.
but after that is just goes downhill.
it is all just a grinding novel with little to nothing more than that

most of the latest chapters i read are a reprtition of the same thing

As everyone else has said, the beginning is terrific and builds a solid foundation, then the story immediately has the mc act like an idiot for a while and then hard carry some dungeons. The reason I dropped it was because we hear about his cute little sister the whole time on the island and when he finally meets her, she's getting f#cked by his old best friend! What kind of friend is that, to go after your best friends baby sister! Naturally I too would've beat his ass since, well I barely remember now, but was like 16 maybe? Already pregnant or had a kid I don't remember but it was on the verge of some pedo shit, even if it's the apocalypse you don't f#ck your best friends sister.

That wasn't my problem, it was that they were friends before his friend had a relationship with his sister, and his friend basically robbed the cradle too, it was just weird and left a bad taste in my mouth. If his sister was older and they only became friends after the friend started dating his sister there's be no problem

But the end result is the same. Are you saying that if I met my girlfriend through her brother it's not ok for me to date her? That's just stupid. If we both like each other who gives a shit about how we met?

That's your opinion but generally a lot of dudes don't want their relatives dating their friends. Even women don't want relatives dating their friends usually. And I'll go back to a key point, the girl was young and the dude was in his 20s its just weird and she got pregnant as well. And I guess that's my opinion as well, if you felt it wasn't strange I ain't saying u can't like the novel

The beginning is very good, the dude gets into a plane crash and was forced to survive on a desert island for 4 years. During this time, all sorts of dungeons, hunters, etc. appear around the world. Where people get a skill book after killing monsters, with this learning magic skills. But the trouble is, MC is on a desert island and can't build a raft and sail away, because predatory monsters are swimming in the ocean.

The first volume of the book, which is about survival on the island, is very good. But after the mc enters the familiar world, the narrative worsens with each new chapter. Everything became so bad that I began to suspect that the part about the Island was written by another person.

Don't start if u don't like the power of friendship ,
a lot of things don't make sense , a lot of grammar mistakes , a lot. Start is pretty good , read 200 then just stop , no point going forward . To "make" or create skills he needs creativity , which is complete bs. There is no creativity here. Towards the end he literally creates a sistem within the sistem , wtf. It was so f#cking pointless now that i write this that it's almost funny.

Where does mana come from, what is mana, what are skills, how do you ACTUALY make skills, what is the sistem , how did the creature make it , and who the f#ck taught fmc how to make the sistem within the sistem. That's the few questions that I have for this particular world , you won't get them.

Concept is nice , execution is dog shit .
