              Is that mean we as a human are more useless than a tree? They are automatically refreshing the air, and here we are, even just existing and living pollute the earth

            Technically most things that requires lumber is done from dead wood or dead trees so they can't be considered to be doing a job in that case. Its like using dead bodies for fertiliser.
