Chapter 101: Harvest King's Large Shield! |
Harvard watched his life flash before his eyes.
He never imagined in a million years that Candy Kid would actually try to kill him so fast. He saw his ex-girlfriend, and the cute blue dress she wore on the day she killed him and tightly clenched his eyes closed.
She had been so perfect, her body so beautiful, that he wasn't surprised she wouldn't settle for anything less than dating a lawyer. He smiled, and saw her turn the gun to his head and fire. Yup, this was it again. A total death flag that meant he was about to die.
"Magic Defenders Defense!" Harvest King arrived in front of Harvard like a speeding bullet and instantly put down his shield in front of Harvard.
Harvard looked up and saw a large man's body, a kind of chubby one, in disbelief before the laser from Candy Kid shot into the sky. The next moment, the moon got pierced by the laser and started to fall apart! What an intense attack! He definitely meant to kill him with that! This was definitely not the Candy Kid he expected to fight.
"Hmph, who are you supposed to be?" Lollypop Girl said while she laughed and clapped with tears in her eyes. "Hey Candy Kid? Is that a floating tank? Is he using magic to try and defend someone instead of strength? What is wrong with him?"
"I-I'm the tank of the Unnamed Guild here to save my Guild Master," Harvest King smiled and took out a glowing silver blade that was so bright even the grey clouds above seemed to react. "And as you can see, I learned to take the right path! Unlike Katie, who I saw on the way going in the wrong direction, towards another Continent, I'm here to save Hamlord! Now, prepare to feel your wills be drained from you! Magic Aggression Activate!"
Boom!
Harvest King slammed his blade into his shield and instantly expected Candy Kid and Lollypop girl to run towards him. That was because, Magic Aggression, got the attention of any enemy and made them run towards the tank!
"Come at me!" Harvest King smiled and laughed while Candy Kid rushed passed him and smashed his hand into Harvard's dagger.
Lollypop Girl arrived on Harvard's other side and started attacking him as well. Did the damn skill not work? What the hell was he doing wrong?
"Harvest King. That skill won't work on them since they aren't monsters! However, it will work on the Krakens! Go! Go and protect the troops."
"But I can't just leave you here!" Harvest King slammed his sword against his shield. "Damn it! It should work even on Ghost Adventurers if they're enemies! Why isn't it working."
A huge clue was there that Harvest King was missing, but he couldn't just let Harvard fight these two by himself. He stepped off his foot and began to float before he shot forward rather quickly towards the two enemies.
"Take this! Silver Damaging Slash!"
Boom!
Harvest King felt a force punch him in the side of the face before he surged in the opposite direction. To his surprise, it didn't hurt that much.. He rubbed his cheek and said "Ow" before he turned and looked in front of him.
A gigantic Kraken was looking down at him with two screaming Ghost Adventurers in its mouth.
"Hahahaha! Another tank to eat?" The Monsoon Kraken's body began to glow with a giant laser. "Very good! Come into my mouth tank! Let's make this happen!"
"Angry Mages Attack!" Tilly screamed before hundreds of glowing orb attacks shot into the air. "Warriors, stop his troops from advancing! Girls, distract them with your boobs if you have to!"
"Foolish," Grave Man said before his body started to transform. "Hahahaha! It's 11:58! It's time for you all to perish! Ultimate form activate." Grave Man's hair started to grow longer and longer before his body seemed to turn into a werewolf. "Hahaha! My Morning Werewolf class is perfect! OWWWWWOOOHOOHOHOHOHO! You're all about to die!"
Swoosh!
Grave Man burst at his top speed towards Great Styles as he pulled off his shirt and also started to get larger.
Grave Man couldn't believe it. He-he could also get stronger at 11:58?
"I-I decided to be the opposite of Hamlord, " Great Styles muscles got larger while he tore of his shirt and his spikes appeared behind him. "I decided to get stronger earlier rather than later! To be stronger rather than faster! Taste the danger of my fists! You scum!"
Boom!
Hundreds of attacks started to be exchanged while everyone gasped. The only one that seemed to not be shocked was Harvest King. He floated up in the air and activated Magic Defenders Defense.
"Come at me you stupid Kraken! I'll show you what a real tank is!"
"Pathetic! You're all pathetic," The Monsoon Kraken smiled and crunched a Ghost Adventurer tank to death. "Very well, let's see how you do against my strongest attack. Seventeen Year sved Laser Activate!"

The sound of explosions started to ring through the battlefield as seconds passed.
Harvard stepped to the side and dodged a lightning bolt and a thunder scream while he tried his hardest to figure out why he was still alright.
They seemed to be making it easier to defeat him. Why was that? What were those bracelets on their feet?
'That must be the reason why they are fighting me with so much force.' Harvard activated Ultimate Steal and reached forward. "Please! Please work!"
Boom!
Harvard spun twice in the air from Lollypop girls fist and then surged into a rock. He couldn't believe it! What did he do wrong?

'Skill points? Ugh, can I get them back later?' Harvard spit out to his side and got up from the rubble. 'Fine, do it! Give me a skill, but it better be worth it!'

'Are you kidding me?! They move so fast I can barely hit them once! And, I deactivated my speed curse! I'm losing Vitality so fast that one more hit might kill me!'
"You-you left that letter for me didn't you?" Lollypop Girl said, slowly marching over to Harvard. It was actually fast because they all had really high Agility, but nonetheless normal looking for them. "Hmph, you think I'm an idiot. What are the chances that the lawyer that knew my mother happened to come to this world and happen to meet me! There is no way in the underworld!"
"Maybe," Candy Kid said, "King Yama isn't stupid. She might have done that for a reason. Didn't you notice most people here seemed to be human. You realize how big the universe is right? We are also all from the same period. Probably the people she didn't let pass on to another cycle of reincarnation yet. Basically, if my guess is right, we are all humans that died sometime in the last 500 years. Everyone else, before that, would've already been cleared out from the Underworld. So, it's not odd."
"Eight of my brothers and sisters were placed here as well. I have a feeling on the other planets, to keep things organized, she did a similar thing with people from different sectors of the universe." Candy Kid sighed and looked down at the time. "Look, we only have like 10 more seconds to talk. Then we have to kill him."
"So, you're saying… He-he really did know my parents," Lollypop Girl stepped in front of Hamlord and wiped a tear from her eye. "You-you really knew them?"
"No, I didn't," Harvard already figured out that those things on their legs would probably hurt them, and didn't want ot see Candy Girl die. "Hah, what kind of fool do you take me for? Now come here! Both of you fight me!"
'Yes, you're him. The horrible lawyer," Candy Girl said and held out her hands. "Hahaha! I don't have family members hating for me. I-I just really wanted to hear my parents last words. Now, I don't even care if I die. Candy Kid. You will not hurt him."
"Dumbass, get out the way," Candy Kid gently nudged Lollypop girl and blushed. "You-you're cute today. You-you're still wearing dinosaur underwear so it will be hard to fight you. Go-go change or something. I'll deal with Hamlord."
"Hmph, eat my fist!" Lollypop Girl's fist suddenly surged forward. She-she felt something against her leg. She could tell she was about to die, but she didn't care. "Thank you Harvard." She smiled before a large explosion pierced her body!
