Chapter 78: The great enemy

One pirate spoke cautiously.

“Well, we are leaving now.”

The pirates on the east side of the island where the incarnation of the sea god lifted the sea were completely annihilated. The ship was completely destroyed, and there was no trace of it.

However, the opposite side was comparatively less damaged. It wasn’t that it was totally fine, but there were survivors.

The party gathered the pirates who were lucky enough to survive. And, on a boat in good condition, they headed to Gaspin, the largest port city in the western part of the continent.

It wasn’t that there weren’t any rebellious pirates. Still, the battle Ivan’s party showed before was quite impressive, so even the pirates with extraordinary skills were terrified.

It was a mythical battle where the sea rose and the land split. Considering that the victor of the fierce battle was in front of them, it was natural for the pirates to become frightened.

“Uhm…”

When Delfino’s expression hardened and he let out an uncomfortable moan, the pirates were startled and acted quickly. They seemed to think it was because they moved slowly and became uncomfortable.

Of course, Delfino’s expression hardened not because of that, but because of severe seasickness.

Ivan sat in the corner of the deck, wiping his old metal belt with a cloth. At the same time, Delfino went into the cabin, lying on his back with Ferocious Tooth guarding him.

‘Why is it there?’

Megingjörð, Belt of Strength, mythical equipment famous for Thor.

But no matter how much Ivan thought about it, it couldn’t be the real thing. Even if Thor behaves like a fool, he can’t possibly drop his equipment in a place like this…

‘…Right?’

In Norse mythology, there was also a lesser-known god who sold his sword to get married. With that in mind, it wouldn’t surprise him at all to say that Thor was drunk and dropped his things in strange places.

Ivan looked up at the sky with a very suspicious look, then shook his head. It couldn’t be either.

‘If it’s a piece of equipment that appears in a real myth, I can’t afford it.’

Just holding on to Mjölnir, whom he had borrowed from Thor for a while, burned his arm black. Even though it was not the body in Asgard, but the incarnation that descended on the earth.

Even considering that it was such an object, it was strange that God’s object was neglected so shabbily. So, this is not the belt of strength that Megingjörð that Thor possesses, but it must be a replica made of it.

Ivan stared intently at the belt.

‘Who the hell made this?’

It wasn’t divine, but if you look at the completeness, it won’t hurt to even say it was Thor’s stuff. Although it was old and worn out, and in poor condition, it was hard to believe that such a thing was made by humans.

Ivan remembered the hands of Fialar Gbüdmund, who had made him the golden boar armor. He said that he has inherited the skills of the dwarfs from generation to generation. Maybe it was made by his ancestors?

‘Yeah, maybe it is. Without the skill of a dwarf, it is difficult to make it easily …..’

Suddenly, Ivan pulled out the spear of the lost warrior from his inventory. The weapon had already expired, and the broken one was trembling shallowly.

Only after seeing that did Ivan realize. The last thing this guy vomited and pointed to was this Megingjörð.

Ivan looked closely at the two and soon noticed that they had the same pattern engraved on them. It meant that the producers were the same.

“What are you looking at so blankly?”

Irene came over and asked. She stood there with a very annoyed expression on her face.

She was the only one in their party who knew about sailing, and she directed all pirates from working, and it seemed to be in order.

“I discovered that this guy was born from the same hands as my spear.”

“Really? It’s strange. No, we came to the place where the spear is pointing, so is it inevitable?”

“Well, maybe.”

It was enjoyable but also disappointing. If the blacksmith is alive, you could repair the spear, but since it’s a relic that’s hundreds of years old, that’s probably not going to be the case.

Irene tilted her head as Ivan spit it out.

“Don’t you think, can he be alive?”

“A long time has passed. It would be a vain expectation.”

“Even it was only a few hundred years? You never know.”

At those words, Ivan suddenly realized. The flow of time felt by each other is completely different.

After all, hundreds of years must not have been a distant past for elves. Perhaps even then, Irene may have been the same as she is now.

“When we came, the weather was crazy, but now it’s just right.”

Irene suddenly looked at the sea and murmured.

“Hey, it must be quiet because it has eaten so many sacrifices.”

There was no thick fog, no stormy winds, and no rain. A gentle breeze blew in the clear, cloudless sky. The waves gently swaying seemed very peaceful.

It doesn’t look like the sea area around the Sword Blade Islands, where there is a risk of a shipwreck just by going nearby. Probably because the dungeon was resolved. And the magic of the sea god that had dwelled on the island was scattered.

Besides, holding the heart left by the tyrant of the deep sea, there’s no way the sea will be rough. It has no choice but to be calm.

In the heart of the sea god or the orb of the sea, was the domination over the sea that the tyrant of the deep sea had.

Of course, it was only a very small fragment, but that alone did not comfortably interfere with the continued sailing. It’s not like the pirates came in droves for nothing.

Irene stared at the orb of the sea Ivan was holding, then pulled out the tobacco pipe. The smoke she exhaled scattered into the sea.

The voyage, which seemed like a wild nightmare, came to an end.
