Chapter 140: Oil

"So? Did you manage to get the cooking oil I asked for?" Thea asked as she savored the cake she was eating.

"I did but you never told me which oil, in the end, I did some running around and collected roughly 50 liters of each oil." Lily calmly said, the sheer volume of oil making Thea choke on her food.

"*Cough! Cough!* 50 liters! Mother, in what world would I use so much oil for cooking? You don't expect me to start running a restaurant, or do you?" Thea blurted out as she stared at her mother questioningly.

"Of course not. If my guess is right, your inventory skill keeps the items you put in it in peak condition, so a few barrels of cooking oils shouldn't pose a problem, or am I wrong?" Lily asked.

"No… that's right. Still, I didn't need this much." Thea said as she helplessly sighed, sinking into the couch she was sitting on.

"Ohh stop being so dramatic, you should thank your momm-... Did you call me 'mother'? Why?" Lily asked with a wronged expression.

"Well, after the last incident, I realized that it was time for me to stop calling you so childishly." Thea explained.

"I didn't even get to fully enjoy myself before you changed your appearance, but now you even stopped calling me 'mommy'? Gallen's brat, it seems castration wasn't enough of a punishment…" Lily said, the last part barely audible as rage flashed across her eyes.

"Anyways, when should we go back to the academy? Besides the twins, a new girl, Nala, has joined the gang. That reminds me, do you know anything about the current ruling Fenrir?" Thea asked, her unique question causing Lily to calm down.

"For the first question, after you collect your oils. Your second question however… not much, the last time I saw him was almost a hun-... a long time ago." Lily said.

"Too bad, let's go get the oils and return to the academy." Thea calmly said as she stood up and stretched.

"What are you up to now?" Lily as she led Thea to one of the storage rooms.

"Nothing~" Thea cheekily said, choosing to be mysterious, instead of giving Lily an answer.

"You cheeky girl, never mind, we have arrived, it should be the barrels in the left corner of the room." Lily said as she pointed to one side of the large room they entered.

"All of these?" Thea asked as she looked at 40 or 50 keg-sized barrels, piled on top of each other, forming a large mountain.

Lily just nodded in response. Thea sighed again and started putting each barrel into her inventory, at least the barrels seemed to be labeled by the type of oils they contained.

"Thank you for collecting these, I'll use some of these to make a feast tonight." Thea said with a satisfied smile.

Lily, who was closely watching Thea became even more excited as she noticed Thea's expression, she was truly looking forward to tonight's feast.

"Alright, let's pick up Mel and head back to the academy." Thea said before making a rift to the room Mel was sleeping in.

"How peculiar, it doesn't feel like the gate in the city at all." Lily said as she stepped through Thea's rift.

"Hmm, if I'm correct, the two work in totally different ways. My skill works like a door, while the gate in the city works like an escala-... like a boat." Thea shortly explained before she walked up to the only bed in the room, where Mel was waking up.

Even after the intense 'training' she and Thea had earlier, with the help of Thea's 'nutrient solution' Mel wasn't tired at all. It wasn't the fatigue but rather a pleasure overload that caused Mel to black out, so Thea's soft voice was enough to wake Mel up

"How are you feeling?" Lily asked with a chuckle.

Mel, who had just woken up and only noticed Thea up until now, turned pale before turning red.

"I-I'm f-fine M-Madam Lily!" Mel said, feeling embarrassed, she was naked and had just slept with Lily's daughter after all.

"Fufufu, just call me Lily, starting today we will be sleeping together after all." Lily casually said as she welcomed Mel into the group.

"Alright…" Mel said, but suddenly froze as she realized the meaning behind Lily's words.

"Don't think too much about it, anyways do you want to get dressed or shall we leave like this?" Thea asked as she stared at Mel.

"Dressed! I'll get dressed!" Mel blurted out in panic before quickly running out the room with the bed sheets around her. A little while later, Mel entered the room again with a small suitcase in one of her hands and shock painted across her face.

"What happened to those maids, and my room?" Mel asked as she looked at Thea.

'Her room? Ohh, that…' Thea thought to herself.

"Sorry about that, it seemed like the bed couldn't keep up and ended up giving out." Thea said matter-of-factly before pushing Mel and Lily through her rift.
