As if it wasn’t enough for me to be reincarnated as a child in the slums, I was taken to a city of crime and became a test subject.

But then, when I saw the man that came to destroy the research institute, I realized that this was the world of an angst-filled reverse harem novel.

While living a relatively normal life after escaping from the institute, the heroine of the novel moved in next door.

From the looks of it, I might be the heroine’s neighbor extra.

Originally, the heroine was to save the unconscious and fatally wounded villain and in return, be subject to a fanatical obsession.

But, why. Why is the sub-villain collapsed in front of my house?

The sub-villain, Lakis Avalon, was the king of the underworld and the very same frightening man that I had met at the institute before.

I took a moment’s glance around then I kicked the man’s body away.

You’ve got the wrong house, Villain. Collapse

This is so forced and stupid. Plot is like kid story plot and bland. MC is a stupid bitch, and not badass as she can be. Such wasted potential. Such strong women potential wasted because of author. bond

I haven't read the book itself yet, but about strong women, as I understood you bro.
I'm already so sick of this endless number of female protagonists who, no matter if they're smart or stupid, strong or weak, everything falls apart, they want to be under a man, and the pinnacle of their life is to get married and have a baby. God, where are these ambitious women who want to build a career, become a powerful magician/knight, farmer, ruler, whatever, only depend on themselves, and have a desire for more than just a man and a child, a family... There are very few heroines like that female.

You do realise those 'boss women' who try to become all those sorts of things irl ( not the fantasy sht obv xD ) end up wanting a family but its generally too late by the time they do. If anything having a family doesn't stop a females ability to have a career, its just changing the position of importance I.e. 1. Family 2. Work

Everyone has their own point of view and view on these things. I have nothing against family, but for me family has never come before my career. I am also not at all interested in a woman who has no ambition, no desire to develop, no independent character.
In short, I love women with strong character.

Therefore, I am attracted to the main female roles by those who have the character traits that I like. But there are very few such books, and there are even fewer heroes who think logically and rationally, and basically they are all driven by emotions.
And in general, I objectively don’t understand how you can live with pleasure or feel safe when your life depends on someone other than yourself.
And the lack of independence and ambition can immediately cancel out all the advantages for a female character in a fantasy world.

Everyone has their own opinion on this matter, I'm just annoyed by the absurd number of novels with such weak and stereotypical female characters.

Understandable, some characters when read too much become annoying. I was just pointing out other people's tastes as I for one don't care as long as my female lead isn't a damn pushover ( seen too many of those idiots ) welldone
