Strange Grief Wants to Retire ~ The Weakest Hunter Dreams of a Hero ~嘆きの亡霊は引退したい　〜最弱ハンターは英雄の夢を見る〜

This novel is actually very good as long as you know few things.
1st :- You have to read first 2 Volume( around 60 Chapters) to know what is actually going on.
2nd :- MC is not smart nor he is strong. He is just a normal guy who is mostly pushed around by his luck.
3rd :- He know he is weak and also know strong eats weak, you might find him acting as a coward sometimes but you have to understand it's normal for a "normal" Person to act the we he do.

Now you know this 3 points let's talk about good part of this novels.

1st :- Misunderstanding are actually very good and doesn't fills like "forced", I would go as far as to say that it's wayy better then many misunderstanding novel sach as Overlord.
2nd :- Once you understand what kind of person MC is and not compared him to other MC you will find that he is very "Realistic", he is a normal guy who just want to live normal life.
3rd :- World building is very good and so far I haven't found any plot holes, so you don't have worry about illogical plots.

I can write many more good things about this novel and MC, but if you are kind of person who like strong, smart MC who is very mature and reliable, or, if you are kind of person who imagine yourself as MC and judge them base on it. This novel is definitely not for you. Once you see MC for who he is and understand him, you will definitely going to enjoy this novel.

the mc is unqualified to get any other job. For eg, he can't become an account, lawyer, painter, butler, etc etc. He can't even become a farmer or a fisherman. May be he can become a day labourer or a politician. But that is up for debate. In the mean time, left with no other avenue, mc can only strive to work as a hunter like all the rest of the bums of the city. Read his story about how despite being unqualified to work for that, he survives with the help of the other bums.

Basically a shitty "comedy" version of Overlord.

MC is an All-Negatives version of Ainz. He is cowardly, overly cautious and grossly over his depth.

Plot, at least as far as I was able to force myself to read, revolves around misunderstandings and "Sasuga"™ moments. But without OP MC to fall on in case things go south.

Completely, utterly average.

Read this a while back, dropped it because of reasons I won't mention in fear of things happening.

To be honest, I'd say this novel is average, in both writing quality and content quality, even if theres a bit of wacky stuff here and there.
The novel is literally just King from OPM Goes on a Trip to Escape from both His Overpowered Friends and Responsibilities From Being a Guild Master while "Accidentally" Causing His Enemies To Admire Him Too. He is also kinda dense, but also fits into the category of Cautious + Cowardly Protagonist but thats also in the tags so go read the tags.
