So this begun as a decent enough piece of writing. Light and fresh enough even for veterans, but yeah, it slowly began to morph into a generic piece of work with the mc turning into just another cn xianxia mc. I have no clue why a lot of works are like this. They start with their own personality only to become generic. I'm at 500 now and even at its worst, it's still pretty decent, but yeah.

The plot per arc while isn't really solid, it's good enough as a quick read especially via TTS but also, the longer the story goes (I'm at 500) the more idiotic parts of it appear. Like people becoming dumb suddenly, there's not even an explanation after a while.

The forging part also becomes a background thing despite the fact that "everything" about the story revolves around "forging", there's really no detail, there's barely any new material with an explanation on how it works, so it doesn't really expand the story or the world, it's just a matter of problem x? forge! problem y? forge! It's not like The Mech Touch, that one is top tier and even on its arcs that aren't "mech" centric, it still focuses on MC's journey towards becoming the best mech designer. This one is pretty bad especially compared to that.

overall, this is slightly better than your bog standard xianxia

Mc is very coward, even though he knows that deaths are very common in the first 20 episodes, he does not speak up against injustice. Go kill him, what are you waiting for stupid mc

Don't read. The author is a geniune young master trope. He thinks his plots are genius and keeps telling us that and explains his plot so that we can actually understand his complicated thought process. (I am being very sarcastic for any other young masters out there)
I am fed up with this. The system was pretty interesting at first but it just became a plot device and the character is very boring.

not bad but could have been much better

I can't believe I'm just now dropping this a bit past 150 chapters. Who likes reading about a constant bullied MC with no freewill. Worst of all, this isn't even a revenge novel where you get the payoff after all the suppression. Reminds me of MC of have arcs of slavery and constant oppression. I don't think I have ever read a comment where it has been said, "Wow, this is so riveting! Can't wait to see what's next."

Side note; I do love forging, but there is hardly any details explained about forging. Just a few hammer swings and his cheat skills, then boom, skipping right to when it's completed. A little disappointing.
