I Unknowingly Rejected My Favorite최애인 줄 모르고 차버렸다

Not sure why this is rated so low.

Essentially guy is handsome and gets lots of confessions but he rejects them all due to being a vol-cel after an incident from when he was young. One of those confessions was from his kamioshi (a vtuber he extremely simps for)'s driver (the actual person behind her). After rejecting her like all the others, the vtuber takes a hiatus but he didn't connect 2 and 2 together.

Later, story actually starts, and he starts suspecting that chick of being the vtuber so the first arc is basically him poking around for hints. At the same time, he plays the role of a normie who doesn't care about anime or vtubers to fit in at college.



Overall:
+ Cute story
+ Misunderstandings I feel was resolved fairly quickly once it becomes a real issue.
+ The romance is cute.
¬ mc is very handsome so I ENVY
+ vtubers were portrayed in a rather realistic way
- Mc tragic past^tm I feel was kinda mid for a story but thinking about it I can kinda understand it realistically. It's not exactly that important either since he still had normal friends and even female friends and whatnot.

Good stuff as a romcom enjoyer.

Correct me if I ‘m wrong but this appears to be about a guy and a girl who are dating. The guy, obsessed with his favourite Vtuber/Waifu, breaks up with his girlfriend. The girl, unbeknownst to him, was his favourite streamer and stops streaming due to the heartbreak.

This isn’t a review or reader synopsis, just my guess as to what it is about.

Another idol novel and, by the way, Korean. Can someone explain to me Koreans' fascination with idols? It's like the Japanese who are obsessed with anime girls and the Chinese who are addicted to building. Come to think of it, every country seems to have something strange that they're addicted to. The USA is very fond of schools and Russia of bombs, etc. Is there no one normal?
