This is a very good novel. Was very funny and enjoyable. I really liked the relationship between
Zhu Yao and Yue Ying. Yao wasn't one of those FLs that's always endlessly merciful and she had buttons she would react to when they were pushed. She forgave Yue Ying killing her from his obsession but immediately drew the line when he tried to harm those close to her heart in his sick jealousy. She called him out and cut ties with him until she felt he was willing to change.
it was one of my favorite parts of the story.

This is pretty good, though I am kinda annoyed by how dumb the mc is. She does not make ANY sort of conjectures about anything, and only realises something if it's literally spoon-fed to her. It's like she's completely missing the part of the brain responsible for analysis and critical thinking.

  This actually is the bread and butter of all chinese cultivation novels, [irresponsible: causes issues with obvious consequences and pretends nothing will happen], [unprepared: obviously walks into a trap like he had a plan b but ends up just taking hits massive disappointment], [self destructive: acts carefree and jokes regardless of enviroment and doesnt communicate deliberately to cause unecessary mayhem ].. sometimes these issues even bleeds into other novel genre from china. Most of these issues wont happen if the mc is mature... even if some are over 1000s pf years old with 2 lifetime of experience.
