I'm basing this review on the 3368 chapters that I've read. Spoilers below.
Do not expect a well structured review as I'll be simply saying what i liked and disliked.
Btw the translation has not stopped, it's just not being posted here. I read it on bronovel

MC - i do quite like Feng Wu and I do think that her character is very well written, in comparison to other female MCs in these types of novels. I really like how she shape her personality and actions based on who's around her and whether or not she can be unbridled or needs to curry favor somewhat. That said, however, I do find it quite stupid that a 14 year old, 13 when the novel starts (yes only a year has passed in 3k+ chapters ), is the best inscription master, formation expert and medicine refiner in the entire empire. No matter how good the legendary teacher was, it makes absolutely no sense. Romance wise she's as dense, as a f#cking brick wall.

ML - the ml is your typical cold and overpowered crown prince who can do whatever the fuk he wants and no one even dares to go against him, not even the king, although he does try to control him somewhat. He starts feeling attracted to the MC first but since he's too arrogant to admit it he still behaves very rudely towards her and any regular person would think he doesn't like her. The author keeps mentioning the cold glares, the temperature in the room decreasing, the pressure increasing etc, you get the idea.

Romance - very very very frustratingly slow. As of right now it seems that things are coming together, but even then, at chapter 3.3k+ they're still not together. He keeps trying to do things for her and get her attention, but never acknowledges it cuz he doesn't want her to know it and therefore still treats her coldly, most of the time. The MC only now has to care for him more, but still is refusing to admit that she's in love with him.

Writing style - This is probably the biggest downside and it is also why only 1 year has passed since the story began. The author loves creating meaningless chapters where the MC or someone close to her is being mocked or humiliated just so the MC or the ML can look cool. They do this to a point tho, where nothing makes sense anymore. The ML and the MC have been in literally tens of differents conflicts together because people doubt their relationship and literally everyone knows about it and yet, there is always a new elder or young lady or whoever else that live in the capital that has neevr heard anything about that and decides to start a new conflict. Even the people that do know keep saying stuff like ''it can't be true, his highness must have been joking, I know deep down he hates her'', etc, when they literally saw him save her in their faces. Extremely dumb and extremely repetitive.

pacing - excruciating slow obviously and weirdly put together. Sometimes there are conflicts that happen in a couple of days or maybe a week that last hundreds of chapters and that the ML does not appear in as well. We always get like a hundred maybe 2 MC and the ML interacting and the above mentioned conflicts and the another few hundred chapters where the male lead is just occupied with something else and just does not appear at all. Rinse and repeat. Most characters are also like that where they just appear and disappear spontaneously without much cohesion. Ex: the mc around chapter 1k if i'm not mistaken, accepts someone as a godmother; their kid is even a very important character a well, but the husband ,aka the godfather, only shows up for the first time in around chapter 3.2k. It took the author over 2k chapters just to introduce the guy cuz he never needed him before. This happens a lot.

Over I would not recommend this unless you are binge reading like myself, cuz then you can skip a lot of the bullshit scenes and filler chapters. The chapters with the MC and the ML are quite nice to read as well, but that's really the novel's only saving grace. 2/5 imo seems fair.
