One Piece Talent System海贼之天赋系统

The power UPs are way too frequent, too strong, too fast. Robin just turns around and MC got buffed up with self claimed "perfect" muscles, whatever that even means.

if you remove "shock" in TLs vocab, you removed 1/10th of the whole novels wordcount and the story untranslatable.

The story premise and MC turned pirate origin story was nice, but everything after that.... is recurring incidents on a loop.

MCs crew is as useful as the readers we both just watch sneering at the massive bigot of such self satisfying mc putting on cringey shows of gradeschool hip flexing.

in conclusion the whole novel is a training montage for fight matches where the readers and the crew just watches.

My rating: 5/10

1. This novel seems to have been written before the canon version arrived at the Wano Arc. Honestly, I laughed out loud when I read the MC defeating the beast pirates.

2. The author's understanding of the world of One Piece is very lacking. For example, the author does not know how to obtain a devil fruit after the user's death.

3. The relationship between the girls and the MC is too ambiguous. Or it can be said, a flawed romantic.

4. Plot development is very poor. Almost no development plot. MC just jump from one place to fight, & fight. Of the 460 chapters, about 450 chapters are battles.

5. To be honest I still don't understand how the system algorithm works. It's an absurd system.

6. MC is very OP, it's just that his brain is stupid.

PS: This novel is worth reading when you run out of entertainment.

At chpt. 67 now. The MC is needlessly antagonistic to everyone. Example, when nowhere near powerful enough to face Don ChinJao, he decides to kill Sai for daring to attack him. He was in complete control of the situation but decided to kill for reasons. He also doesn't take the initiative to teach Haki his crew, etc.

I feel so empty after reading it. It was a good read but goddamn do I feel so empty.

It's a great novel even if you didn't read or watch one piece you can still enjoy this novel. Recommended

Everything is perfect... Except for that one event in Ch. 444...
