Chu Li was a particle physicist until a freak accident took his life and transmigrated him to a parallel universe — one where he wakes up with inexplicable abilities and finds himself in the running for a job in the imperial palace.

This is a story of heroic adventures, cunning strategies and romantic tales. How will our MC thrive in a world completely strange to him? Where will his ambitions and abilities take him in the palace? Collapse

This novel is absolute trash, the writing is excellent but other than that everything else is trash, I regret listening to the guy who said it gets better after the first 50 or so chapters. The Mc is a literal slave in this novel, he gets pushed around by people ranked lower and higher than him. The amount of things he has done for the first FMC is crazy but she does not give shit at all its crazy. Everyone else is a genius except him even though he's younger and stronger than those geniuses. This is no cultivator MC this is a herbalist Mc, might as well try going for a plant since none of the FMC care who he is except how usefull he is for their own cultivation. Absolute trash of a novel.

How far did you read before giving up? I'm curious because I felt it would be interesting, if it was a "scientist" protag, but a simp MC is simply intolerable if he never grows up from this attitude.

Do not judge this novel by the first 50 or so chapters,it picks up after that and becomes quite enjoyable. I dropped this book twice cuz of the beginning until i gave it a shot and continued and i am glad i did since it became one of my favorite cultivation novels, though the translation of it has stopped which is quite sad.
