    The GOOD:
    1. It's occasionally clever.
    2. It's well-written, and interesting. Some arcs drag on, but overall, its okish
    3. The characters (though cliches) are ok.
    4. Some of the interactions (though cliches) are amusing and Frequent attempts at humor, sometimes successful.

    The BAD:
    1. It's very plot-armored and most of story was predictable except ending.
    2. So OP. Not even a hint of real threat- or at least one that could pierce the thick plot armor. His innate ability aka his eyes are just a free pass to solve easily every problem that comes to their way. Traps, useless. Ancient forbidden magic, useless. Camouflaged enemies, useless. Hidden curses, you know the answer.

    3. The plot armor is thicker.
. I know every MC in story has plot armour, but author should not used in such straightforward way.

Overall it's an acceptable read, recommended when you are bored and have nothing to read.

For those reading this, I strongly suggest you don't open the wiki for this novel either before or while reading this novel. After reading up to chapter 154, I got so curious about

So, I got curious and opened wiki. I got spoiled so hard that I got scared and have to temporarily stopped reading this novel. I really, really regretted doing that. So, I hope new readers won't experience that.

This is the first time a spoiler scared me. So, the fear is quite bad. Like, damn bad.

In resume: a very good and fun read. Recommend to give it a try, and if you don't like it even after ending the first dungeon, go to another because the novel follows a stable pace till the end.

While with its own share of problems, the novel is quite good, especially as the author made a heavenly use of old cliches like 'hero x demon king' or 'love at first sight'.
The story itself focuses on their hero journey to defeat the demon king, with good romance development with the main waifu (+ some few scenes with other harem girls), comedy (I personally loved it), fights (that though interesting, lacks that special tension).
The world-building follow a precise development, focusing more on the 'where we are now' or 'where will go after this' than 'the world is...', the same being applied to some other things like power-system, with occasional tips here and there.
The plot itself is filled with plot twists (like, really), with many 'predicable' events of the 'hero x demon king' cliche becoming far more interesting and fun to read. Except for that, the story is rather simple, and due to the time-skips on more static scenarios like dungeon clearing or level grinding, it can feel a bit rushed but far from harming the novel pace.
The romance, if we are to focus just on the lovely main waifu, is damn great in many ways. But if we focus it as a whole, including the harem, then it will lose some points due to the novel focusing just on the main waifu while the rest supported/followed as companions with feelings for the MC, with the MC answering some of them in the end (something I found a real pity, for the other waifus are interesting in their own way too).

Welp, I finished the novel and I'm too lazy to give an actual lengthy review and the other two reviews are pretty good in describing the novel. I enjoyed it as a good read, not the best mind you, but enjoyable and had very similar vibes to TCF (Trash of the Count's Family) in terms of the MC + surrounding characters. Honestly give it a try, it was entertaining.

I wasn't really expecting much from the novel because of negative reviews and low ratings (on other sites) but after reading the novel it pleasantly surprised me that the novel is actually great for casual read, but just don't expect much.

Demon lords and heroes, extremely cliche settings with either hero rebirths as demon because of betrayal or oposite and vice versa. You can expect traits like calm, cunning, mature, knowledgeable etc in mc's personality. There is no heavy past like betrayal, revenge, backstabbing, an unachievable goal to mc which makes plot rather simpler and casual.

World building is simple and with the knowledge of the mc from previous life author tries to build the world. For example in some countries there shady organization behind the king, some races discriminate against their own for different skin colours, god is fake with pontiff being corrupt, some secret dungeons for fast leveling and many more.

There are several plot twist in the story which makes story interesting and makes reader going only if you enjoyed previous story. Author drops small details throughout the novel for foreshadowing, so if you use bit of brain and give small bit of a attention to this details than you shouldn't be surprised for plot twist.

In many similar types of novels there isn't given a reason why mc goes under rebirth in past after he dies but here author has clearly stated the the reason of his rebirths, so if you wanna know stick till the end.

I love this novel but I can't write a good review gloom
    So I copy one wish

A very entertaining adventure story with surprisingly few flaws.

The premise: The protagonist, Artpe, was the weakest of the four generals of the demon king, more of an intelligence officer than an actual fighter, as his unique Innate Ability allowed him to read stats, decipher magic, auto-scout dungeons and all sorts of other perception-related stuff.

Unfortunately for him, the Hero showed up at the gates of the demon king's castle, and in line with the sorting algorithm of evil, he sent Artpe out to fight her.

However, as he was dying, his innate ability evolved and instead of reading reality, it rewrote it so that he is reborn as the childhood friend of the hero, Maetel.

Even though at this point all he wanted was to retire and become a dairy farmer, he realizes that the demon king wants to eradicate all humans, he is a human, and therefore it is in his best interest to get rid of the demon king first.

Because of this he sets out to use his innate ability and knowledge of the future to guide Maetel's path... except it soon turns out that he has received the Hero class as well, so the two of them set out on a journey to gather party members, grind levels and acquire artifacts while foiling the plans of the demons, even if by accident.

    Pros:

    • Decent comedy.

    • Maetel is adorable in a dumb puppy kind of way.

    • The protagonist is very proactive and he is not entirely dense either.

    • The writing plays with the tropes of the genre in a tongue-in-cheek manner, but it's never so overt it would disappear up its own anus.

    • The pacing is pretty good.

    Neutrals:

    • There is a harem forming around the MC, and while all the girls are likable, they kinda pale in comparison to the absolute love of Maetel and thus feel unnecessary.

    • Related to the previous point, the heroines seem to come out of nowhere and they are immediately smitten with the protagonist at first glance.

    • There is a lot of cool power-fantasy themes here, but if you have read a lot of that genre, it becomes a little samey after a while.

    Cons:

    • The Heroes' plot armor and the Demon Kind using the sorting algorithm of evil are actually plot-points in the story, but it still doesn't help with the lack of tension.

    • The many small time-skips help with the pacing, but they also emphasize how the characters stay mostly static over time.

    • Way too much focus on looting and the MC scamming people just because he can.
Overall this is a really good, entertaining light read. It follows a similar power-up cycle as Toika's previous work, Everyone Else is a Returnee, and it has most of the same strengths as that story, but with its flaws greatly lessened.

All things considered, I would recommend it to anyone not allergic to smug OP MCs and unnecessary harems

Ok I don't agree with all his point but here a fair review welldone

and they are immediately smitten with the protagonist at first glance.

For a moment I had to enter in a 'review mode' and gods, this is damn true! Though in a way, is quite understandable. The MC is described to have god-ranked looks + money + power + wits + he is the f*cking hero (the last is normal to gather girls in most novels lol)

And yeah, is truly a pity that the other girls didn't have more space in the novel... even in the ending,
