One of my most favorite novels

there are not many stories with female MC which are good, this is an exception, story was fun and engaging till the end,

Romance was too forced but if you can endure it for 20-30 chapter it gets good

I don't normally enjoy female-lead stories because of their tendency to have the male love interest be more powerful and essentially turn into the MC, however this story is excellent, with a well written female MC, reasonably interesting setting especially among ones of similar genres, and the love interest being more of an 'eternal rival', where both are more or less equally matched and so even if one has the upper hand the other has someone to aspire to beat, all-in-all creating a very well done love story.

Like seriously, as someone not attracted to guys, this story with a male love interest didn't immediately lose my interest and was so well written both in terms of the romance and excluding the romance that I enjoyed it.

And while I have mostly talked about the romance being well written, the rest of the story was also excellent, I just usually find romance in these stories to be badly written, and it wasn't in this, hence the focus in this review on it.
If this story had no romance I'd honestly like it about as much, I just wouldn't be as amazed it did something well that's usually badly done.

Am not much of a female lead reader, this probably my first book
