    Yet another novel full of misunderstandings where the mc is an immortal and acts like a mortal, yet another novel ruined by its author, who literally copy-pasted "I'm a cultivation bigshot"'s terrible plot development, he even had the face to copy the parts where the mc quotes journey to the west, just terrible.

    I don't understand, what's going on with these novels where the mc doesn't know about his powers? are they copy-righted? why is it that ALL OF THEM include this journey to the west trash?

    Also, every single enemy is ALWAYS backed by someone stronger, literally, expect 2 or 3 backers per fight, one saving the other.

    By the way, there isn't any romance at all, he barely managed to make friends because of a misunderstanding so please make sure to remove the romantic subplot and harem tags. (no, the mc daydreaming about having a wife and his elven friend blushing when someone calls her madam by mistake does not count as a romantic interaction at all)

        Beware of Chickens is okay. The side characters in that book are really good, but a lot of stuff brings it down. The MC has... no personality. There is nothing interesting or noticeable about him. He is, in almost every situation, the perfect guy. Making a few mistakes here and there doesn't change that. His relationship with his wife was rushed and out-of-nowhere. The writer handles some things really poorly, to the point it seems very out-of-universe and more written in to appease the readers.

        ...it's still better than this tho.

      Both are equally good even though they are in essence the same. I Think the cultivation big shot was first out, however all in all they are both funny and with the MC being really clueless of his status to the masses. It is a good light hearted novel that you can really get into.
      My only complaint is that I cannot read it all in one go 😂
