No offense man but as a fellow otaku how can you have not watched Naruto? Its one of the four classics of anime namely Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece and Naruto. Though i haven't seen Bleach of yet.
I would heavily recommend you to watch Naruto as it is a roller coaster of emotions and epic fights.

I wanted to watch Naruto a couple of years back when I was younger because all my friends used to hype it up, but now that I'm older, I don't have that much time to commit to watch like ~400 hours of anime without getting bored. sigh
I used to be able to watch entire seasons of anime every day but I can hardly sit through one episode nowadays. gloom
Especially since everything moves so slowly in anime whilst in novels and manga I can speed through pretty easily.

Link to episode durations for Naruto:

Why not just read the manga then?

Good question, I don’t enjoy reading action manga, plus, just recently I read through the Naruto fandom and spoiled myself.

Also, I can’t really find myself reading naruto and putting effort into understanding the story.

they are not part of the big 3... big 3 isn't the best anime, it's the classic animes that went wildly mainstream and turned anime into mainstream shows singlehandedly

Pokemon's kinda, you know a happy go lucky anime. I haven't watched the new one but the old one was mostly for childrens.

Well I kinda understand where you’re getting at, but since most of the current anime watchers are generally teenagers to adults, most of them have probably watched Pokémon during their childhoods. So I thought it would be included.

Yeah but most don't go watch Pokémon as a series. Sure they've watched individual chapters but there's not many that go "Imma bingewatch the entire pokemon series". Maybe the films though
