To sum this up in a few words…
It’s just hard to read through all of it

Its boring... Its bad. if you made to chapter 80 you deserve a cookie. The only good thing is art cover.

The site hasn't been updated in a long time, so I tried to read...this. 80 chapters read at the time of review.
1) I firmly believe that only Asians can write interesting cultivator light novels. The author of this work is not one of them.
2) The author has a lot of books (relatively of course). But all his books that I tried to read seemed like garbage to me. Perhaps among his books there are good ones, but this one is clearly not one of them.
3) I do not like snotty vanilla romance for those who are "soon to school" and since it is present in this book, my review is biased.


Now about the work itself.
1) The characters are completely undescribed. Neither the main character, nor the secondary characters, nor just passing meat - characters, desires, way of thinking - nothing is revealed. There are inserts from other characters, but they are short and not particularly interesting.
2) The protagonist is infinitely stupid, naive, primitive and superficial. I don't even know which of his jambs is the main one. Love to the grave with a girl he has known for 2 weeks? That he spends his time having sex and selling French fries (not a joke) when he needs to work out? The fact that he does not know where to stop and calculate the consequences? The fact that he constantly behaves like a snotty youngster with his passion? You are so cute, I can’t even hit you, although I know that you won’t get hurt and this is necessary to show you the property of clothing ... In general, there is enough of this in the book.
3) This book is not about cultivation. This book is about how in the world of cultivators to sell a recipe for french fries, linen and soap...)))
4) In the comments below they wrote that the author is experienced and has good style. So, this is a lie. A huge number of inserts of author's thoughts almost everywhere. And if in the legendary mechanics this is not noticeable and it creates the impression that these are the thoughts of the protagonist, then such inserts are immediately visible.

As a result. 80 chapters read does not allow me to call this book garbage. Perhaps it will be interesting further and the author will spin the plot and so on. But for now, it's not worth the time you spend reading.

Hmm, at chapter 50ish right now. VERY slow paced story. The MC and his "slave" FMC is just barely got a master. No real plot or intrigue yet, or any significant hook. It's an ok book if you have nothing else to do. I was just adventuring in genshin while listen with text-to-speech and the book was ok.

Very slow pace book with no plot/hook/intrigue while at chapter 50. It's just an ok read if you are really bored, otherwise pick something else.

without even starting this novel. chapter 223 got my intrest.it has medieval tag for gods sake!. then rocket science?!!

A small review for all fellow readers;
•First of all, Grammar and World building, definitely top class.
(Author is experienced, having written before)
•A bit unique Cultivation system (though only just a bit, if you look closely you will find out that it's no different from others)
•An anti-hero mc? A kind mc? Not sure which one but I think he falls somewhere in-between, though leaning more towards kind one.
•Not a Harem but still r18, (I don't know if he will have relationship with other women, but so far we have only seen a single FMC)
•Even though I am read around 40 Chapters, I still don't understand MC's goal, so it's still a bit unclear, but I can assure you that story progress smoothly.
•No arrogant young master's (at least not till 40 Chapters {actually there was one, but it was a minor one} still, thankful that no face-slaping will happen, God I am tired of those brainless Xianxia tropes).
•Side characters appear rather good and so does world background.
•> All in all, I can assure you that while this novel isn't heaven-defyingly unique, it's still good, BUT this me talking at chapter 40, who knows what unexpected plot author pull out in future.
