It's okay to turn your brain off and read, nothing new or outstanding so far and world building is trash unless u know a bunch of Chinese history, if this is even based on true history

Read all the current chapters (19). It's surpringly interesting. I normally don't read these types of novels, so not sure if it is full of clichés or not, but it honestly wasn't bad.

Basic premise is MC was reincaranted in this world as an orphaned peasant. His system is a shop which has 5 items that refresh as well as 1 item he can lock, though from the start that lock is already used on an item which can let him travel back to modern times (for an insanely high cost, of course). The only way he can earn points is with physical contact with nobles, and more intimate contact the more points.
MC knows about some modern knowledge and is said to have helped a family friend who's father suffered this same issue, so he isn't completely clueless. He also kinda has to ensure that she stays alive as long as possible, since if she dies he will be forced to be buried with her.
In terms of the physical contact, the majority of it is simply holding her hand, though later he does massage her body and help her move around when doing exercises. The only "intimate" act done so far was him pecking her on the lips to test whether he gets more points, which it did.
There is a female staff member there at most times who is responsible for helping the princess wash and cleaning her up after she urinates/defecates, so it's not like MC has free control over doing whatever he wants to her. He also knows there is a chance she is conscious, which is the case as we get some chapters from her perspective, and so he talks to her a lot, which is pretty sweet.

Though it doesn't say how they found MC and how he got to the palace at all.

He uses some medical knowledge from modern times as well as some basic Chinese medical knowledge from the system to try to improve the Princess, whilst also allowing him to remain in physical contact with her by helping her with exercises and massages to prevent muscle atrophy etc., and when he is asked about where he knows this from, he basically just says he read about this in a book. Surpringly they don't question how this MC, despite having no parents and being a peasant, is supposedly literate and has knowledge that the Palace doctors haven't heard of before.

Another issue, at least so far, is that the synopsis has spoiled the cause of this vegetative state already. So far it seems that Li Lizhi doesn't even know the cause, nor is Princess Gao Yang even mentioned, other than in passing, so like...why spoil something like that? Now we know who was the cause if this and who to look out for in the future.

But overall, it's not bad at all. I'm not sure if I'll continue this long term, since this is very much not the type of novel I usually enjoy, but it seems decent enough that I wouldn't caution against it just yet. Again though, this is not at all the type of novels I usually read, so if you're used to them then you might find it better/worse than I do.
