Very evil MC, so avoid if that's not your thing. He's constantly eradicating clans of 10,000+ people because one person offended him, and his first rape is in chapters 279-280. I don't know if there are more since I dropped it at 280, but definitely avoid this novel if you don't want to see MC straight-up raping at least one woman.

This has all the cliches you'd expect from old-school Xianxia. If it wasn't so old, I'd almost think it's a parody novel due to how extreme the cliches are.

Like, it's a world where entire sects, clans, and businesses get eradicated on a daily basis, yet everybody of every cultivation level, including mortals, is running around offending everyone they can for absolutely no reason. Just how badly do these people want to die?

Another trope that's everywhere is that there are no punishments for doing evil, but doing good will have a thousand people with higher cultivations attempting kill you and eradicate your clan and friends. A trash, low-level disciple can rape his way through half of MC's sect just because his evil relative is the law enforcement elder, but when MC stands up to him, it's death by torture. Everything's like that.

The world this author created can't possibly exist. Ignoring the fact that all the genocides would reduce the population to zero in a week, even if they somehow didn't, everybody would live in constant, crippling fear every day until they get randomly genocided for some unknown reason.

Overall, minus MC being super-evil and getting worse over time instead of better, I thought this was fine. For some reason, probably brain damage from reading too much MTL, I love all the old, terrible cliches. If you can put up with a raping, genociding MC, this'll give you many solid chapters of classic trash.

Hey "the mech touch" is about 5000+ chapters, its genuinely good and not at all repetitive and a lot of plot twists and turns and it's a cultivation novel disguised as sci-fi mystery novel. For real, to know that you would have to reach at least 5000 something chapters and it has excellent clan building and way less face slapping and best of all the MC is not some idiot waking around boning and face slapping others. But the main draw back is the MC does not fight personally at least in the later chapters and he is a crafter of sorts makes all sorts of mechs and his people fight for him. I mean it in the way that it's sort of like a professional military, they fight people and aliens.
Best part of it all is how he designs mechs and the new ways he find to make them more interesting which makes it interesting for the readers.
The most I would complain about is about fillers, in some chapters it's just fillers to foreshadow certain important events but it has it's charms, you only get frustrated when you're reading it daily, if you read it in bulk then it kinda builds up your anticipation, like micro- macro effect.
It's overall the best novel in webnovels

I am an unsatiable addict when it comes to reading and this book is really f#cking challenging me just from the number of chapters it has but unfortunately I have school. BUT summers coming soon and Iast summer was too easy i guess so this time imma challenge myself and read this whole thing.

The summary this novel is that you either really like it or you really hate it , there isn't in-between ,so read at your own risk ,if it's your first Chinese novel to read you mostly will not hate it but if you already a veteran readers and read at least one of er gen novels then you will be left with disappointed but gotta say regardless of you either love or hate it the translation is superb
