Absolutely great novel for Yandere lovers.
Well I know some people call mc wimpy cause how mc behaves when someone insults him. But you know he literally got tortured for many years prior to story that he got numb to such childish remarks. Still if you don't like, you should wait cause after few chapters all those who antagonise mc are literally torture and suffer worse fate than dying by mc's disciples hands.
There is big past for mc which is why he tries to avoid problems and live a peaceful life with his disciples which he does unconsciously because of his habits in past you will understand In later chapters.
There is lot of comedy in novel, mc uses all the troupes to crack jokes, from face slapping to arrogant young master to chain villains of clan, sects to some mother goddess of some dark cult.
Side characters meaning mc's disciples all have distinct personalities and gone through minimum character growth. Interactions between characters are also great, especially his disciples.
There are also many slice of life moments, in fact there is absolutely one arc on Slice of Life after some serious arcs.
So you should give it a try just be patient till atleast 100 to 150 chapters. Just so you know this novel was very popular on web novel in past.

A good read, dont question how, but im on ch340. Although the hometown ark is unbearable, I recommend anyone who read those previous comments to try and get past it, because the story after that gets better for sure.

from chapter 1 till 77 the story was okay and then the author decided to make The MC went back to a kid and couldnt use his power. so he went back to his hometown. and after that, the story got boring really quickly.

Well it's interesting and a good read till the 100s after that I lost interest.. If you're gonna read it then read it along with the side stories
