the start is a bit rough, and a lot of the things make no sense. other than one or two glaring things, the story gets much better. the mc is smart, bit not showy and naive.

the plot so far hasn't progressed too much, and has just been the mc doing a bunch of stuff that's really advanced.

overall, 7/10. doesn't require you to use your brain too much, it's pretty decent as a power fantasy and the writing at least is smooth and is perfectly readable.

I've now read it and what the actual Jimmy John Jr's is going on? The description for the story makes absolutely no sense and the title sounds like it was created by an artist hooked up to an MTL machine.

Story Development:

Writing Quality:

The quality of writing depends on two things, grammar, spelling and the general structuring of sentences and paragraphs. However, it is also about balancing plot and creating a story that makes sense. This novel does only one of these two criteria decently. The spelling and grammar are good, about what you'd expect from a web novel, possibly a little better since it seems the author may have a better grasp of the English language than normal, seeing as they wrote an American character, also. Paragraphs and sentences are nicely formatted for an easy read but that's about all.

This doesn't go for the actual plotline, however. It's murky, full of plot holes, ridiculous ideas and stupid scenarios that will make you inwardly cringe before plunging your head into an ice-cold bucket of water because your brain is frying itself trying to understand what was going through the authors head at the time of writing.

Take, for example, the fact that the main character, Raymond, is hated by basically a large portion of the world for no apparent reason. Then, a few chapters later, we find out it's because he's Being from there, he's obviously inferior to every other character in the story so far. In the later chapters, the only reason humanity begins to like him is that I say this is obnoxious because if he didn't do this, or wasn't shown as being a genius, the entire world would've hated him anyway and made fun of him, basically breaking down any evidence the author creates or there actually being decent people in the world.

The author tries to portray the rich evil corporate creeps, as well. It just doesn't go down right. He simultaneously backhands Japan and Korea and who knows whose country he'll tarnish in the future. If you don't understand,

The system is boring, very stock standard and doesn't do anything interesting. He gets and that's about it. The system is meant to save him as shown in the description but it's not even used all that much. Most of the story is about humanities reaction to a disgusting peasant from the slums becoming a genius and out showing the elites of other countries. It's contrived and boring and incredibly stupid.

The last thing, you'll be angry to know that every creation, all the hard work of the main character, is basically stolen by the outside world since they're always monitoring what the MC is doing.

World Background:

The world is basically the same as our own with the same countries and more. However, every netizen and citizen is a nationalist and most of the world is made of people who hate the poor and degrade them at every chance they get. There's also a weird power system where large corporations that make TV shows have more power than even the space industry...?

Character Design:

Very, very poor. MC is stock standard and the villains are villains. They hate poor people and that's literally it. That's their motive for everything. They hate the MC purely because he comes from the slums and everything they do, even making an entire show about the end of the world, is because they hate poor people.

Skip it, please. Do yourself a favour and skip this.

EndlessFantasy group must be working really hard on translating this novel.. translating and editing the plethora of technical terms is seriously mind-wrecking

Its really good....a unique plot and I really hope that the author doesn't drop it or give a unsatisfying ending
