In a world full of caped superheroes, supervillains, and monsters, Aldrich is worthless. 95% of humanity has evolved to develop superpowers, but Aldrich is one of the rare few that has no powers at all.

    I read up to like around 20 or 30 can anyone tell me if he gets stronger himself or does he just rely on his summons the thing that turned me off from this novel is that it seemed like the necromancers was kinda nerfed because it had different subclasses

      I personally like the necromancer subclasses because it kind of brings the mage class a whole new perspective.Apart from that I personally would like to come meet mecromancers belonging to different classes apart from the protagonist in the story(which happens later in the story as we come across volantis-occultion of shattered bone necromancer)

    I’ve gotta be careful, the author abandoned the last novel he wrote. Even though it eventually went in the ‘meh’ bin it still irks me the author gives no closure.

    I've read so many novels that I can now guess if it's a Chinese or Western or japanese novel just with the title or the cover because Chinese titles are nonsense, Western titles are too simple and Japanese titles spoil you the whole story

        And if its western, mc will f#ck some random beauty for some relief and go on as nothing happen or f#ck the beauties but hide from the main fmc or lie to her with random nonsense and...and..they always love Cigarettes. Unlike Chinese, who f#cked a beauty and announced to world that she is his woman and on one is allowed to touch her drama. For Japanese mc, mc become fmc and fmc become Mc.

    Novel type: weak to strong, smart MC. (chap. 100)

    Good points:
    - Packed with action.
    - A decisive Mc who wont lose his cool and is not overconfident.
    - A sinister world to explore, both in society and nature.
    - Magnificient enemies, witty and resourceful.
    - Nice conductivity and flow.

    Bad points:
    - A traumatic start for the first part.
    - Not truly a bad point, but no ultra OP MC.

    To sum up: imagine boku no hero society but in an apocaliptic world. Racism against non kirk pple (aka Duds), power hunger and law of the jungle shine in this world. Then you find our MC, a person without any quirk, who suddenly gets a system to go over his limits. And boy oh does he goes.

      this seems more like an unrequited romance on the part of the protagonist with the supposed romantic couple, (until chapter 48), it reminds me a bit of Overlod (Ainz and Albedo)

    my honest opinion
    the story has molded in such a way that it appears to be really good.
    the plot, the characters, the world building are all maintaining a superior standard compared to other lightnovels that i generally read.
    my problem is the intial phase of the novel-the slow grinding, the system(not the novel's fault,I am sick of systems) ,expecting the author to follow another cliche plot with systems and power of friendship(but the author proved me wrong)
    All in all a really good read
