Have you read Deep Sea Embers ? quite good take on the Lovecraftian Horror.

If you haven’t read Lord of the Mysteries make sure to do so. Deep Sea Embers is also pretty good, both of them are Lovecraftian horror themed. You can try ‘The Game at Carousel: A Horror Movie LitRPG’, it’s good but the MC wasn’t really to my liking and I dropped it. Ghost story club is a really good Korean horror novel, unfortunately translation was dropped at 36 chapters, so if you really want to carry on reading you would have to go to the Korean source and Google translate. Case Files 013 Is amazing, though if you can’t stand massive amounts of gore description then skip past this one. The whole ‘Daomu Biji’ is a classic horror in China, it’s mainly about tomb raiding and exploring mysteries, horror part comes from the supernatural stuff with ghosts etc. I remember reading one of them a couple years ago and the descriptions sent chills down my spine, but I haven’t read any of the others, there’s a Chinese drama series which I’ve watched all of them. Some were pretty good while some were meh, the bad CGI didn’t help. I read up to chapter 118 of ‘Hell’s Handbook’ then lost interest, it’s an interesting story overall and I can’t really remember why I dropped.
‘Dead on Mars’ is pretty good, it’s mainly about the MC’s survival and there’s not much sci-fi elements, though I dropped it, I think it was because the story was kind of too heavy? Like it stressed me out I guess, didn’t help that I read it during the times when I had a shit load of exams coming up. It’s similar to the movie ‘the Martians’. ‘I am a Scarecrow and the Demon Lord of Terror!’ is pretty good, I don’t remember if I finished it though. ‘Terror Infinity’ is pretty good, though I think I remember complaining about the MC a lot. It’s about going from horror movie to horror movie and trying to survive, there’s this hub you come back to every time you survive and you can buy resources there to become stronger, that’s about all I remember. That’s about all the horror novels I think I’ve read, maybe I’m missing a few that I read on other websites but oh well. Hopefully you find something you like 👍
