Within a quiet and majestic pavilion, Xuan Hao slowly opened his eyes bewildered, time passed and he had quietly come to terms with his situation. He had transmigrated into a fantasy world as an elder of the Flying Sword Sect.

He was even an expert at the Nascent Soul Realm, who had the power to easily destory an entire city with a wave of his hand.
Most importantly, he had a system, but it kept wanting him to train up disciples.

«What now! I already trained up a few Celestial Immortals, what more do you want out of me? Can’t you just give me some random cultivation method that magically allows my disciples to become immortals within a few weeks?»

[Have 4 disciples achieve godhood]

[Reward: Cultivation Increase of 1 major realm]

mc is always late to react to anything, he just keeps roaming everywhere all the time bringing troubles to himself and others, clearly he has no goal whatsoever

dropped shortly after meeting the beastmaster. There is noway a master of its profession would function in society by bribing large mounds of resources to their communal travelling pets per run. worst still throws their customers off midair and still gets daily royal bribes and treatment well after retirement( yes im talking about per each pet beast).

author lack of understanding of a functional society and its contrive strong arm way of an excuse to have the mc travel on foot. Directly foreshadows sloppy retcons unimmersive pretenses due to a lack of understanding and wandering thought plots with no real plan or setups. 2.5/10

.. and whats the deal with the novel cover pic? an active volcano from some national geographic documentary magazine. But it strangely fits since the novel reads like a history textbook of the daily activities in a cultivators natural habitat... boring

The Arc of Alchemy is disappointing, it's a work I started reading as soon as it came out, but it's getting boring.

If I have to summarise it in a word I would call it disappointing. It's not bad in any way, but I just went in with different expectations. I was expecting to see someone like Han Jue where he just sits around cultivating like the genius that he is, instead there is unnecessary secret realm exploring and herb finding.

It's different and not in any way bad, it's just my expectations were a bit different. I was expecting some confident genius dude who breaks through and is better than the disciples but ended up with an insecure senior brother character who has higher cultivation and just wants friends and not abandoned.

It's good and gives the mc a more humane character instead of some god dude. But still, a bit disappointed... I actually really like the slice of life stuff and slow story progression though so that's cool I guess.

I read up to chapter 230 or so and at this point, I'm just annoyed at how there is no real peaceful vibe to the cultivation in this novel. The author has this weird sense of humor which makes me feel dumb for reading the book.
. Random 100-year-old people running around in an apparently 'unbefitting manner' is I guess what constitutes humor for the author(I read this same joke 3 times which is 3 times too many). It's just bland humor which just makes me annoyed. Humor based on incompetence is just bland and boring

Incredibly slow story progression, perhaps not enough focus on the 'cultivating disciples' part of the title and sometimes entire chapters are just filler information.

However, if you can stand that, it's quite a nice slow-burn story. Nothing huge ever happens, the MC just kind of gets stronger and him or his disciples occasionally go on adventures. If you're after face slapping, restaurant fights and tournament arcs, then this probably isn't the story for you

e: it's a little bit of a shame it's in English, which means you can't just google to find an MTL of it - you'll have to deal with a slow upload speed on top of the slow story progression.

    I have read 144 chapters.
    VERY BORING ROMANCE.
what can be written in 4 chapters, the author wrote in 15 chapters.
If you managed to read the novel "The Lord of Secrets", then feel free to read this work. (Personally, I was able to read over 200 chapters.)
Also here you need the tag "The teacher who licks the student"
    Rating: 3.3 / 5
(If I was in a hurry with the assessment of this novel, then correct me)

    Read a 100chs.
It's average. Tries very hard to be funny, and it's very in-your-face, but it's not entirely obnoxious. Reads like satire or bad fan-fiction. Not bad, not good- won't continue reading, as I simply just don't like it enough.

There are no romance so far for mc
for side character all of them are 100+, except disciple, the elders if not all most of them have grandson or granddoughter.
There was a little bit of between the sect master(male) and the vice sect master (female). It is not shown but everyone in the sect knows she is loyal to him like when he says let's do this, she is like ok
and everyone is like loyal as ever. That is all i think this novel mostly about sect developmen along mc
