Chapter 1823 Chapter 1816: ACT I (5)

ARROGANT!

DOMINEERING!!

PROUD!!!

These were three characteristics that those who cultivated an authority of Imperial Law almost always possessed as part of their core personality. They were nearly an absolute requirement to comprehend the concept of Imperial Reign and acquire the blessing of this Law. While it might manifest in various ways, such as with mellow rulers that focused on their own rather than beyond or benevolent rulers that prioritized the health, prosperity, and satisfaction of those beneath their reign, these qualities couldn't be lacking lest their reign come to a premature end.

Tianshia Ya's heart thundered within her chest, her heavy breathing caused her chest to heave up and down with intensity, while her skin had goosebumps. Wei Wuyin's words were astonishingly oppressive, genuinely a showcase of a true fearless entity!

A Monarch!

AN EMPEROR!

Afraid? Of what? Of who?!

Despite being fully aware that these Supreme Sages and Heavenly Alchemic Saints were navigating the situation to their benefit, deftly orchestrating a result that benefited them with the least losses by leveraging these qualities and personality types perfectly, she couldn't help but feel genuinely awed by the foreigner's unrivaled aura.

However, her worship of those Supreme Sages and Heavenly Saint Alchemists was vastly superior, and she held back the urge to applause. From her perspective, Wei Wuyin had already fallen into a simply laid yet masterfully executed trap. After his intentions to provoke a fight were seen through by these supreme existences, in her eyes, that was when Wei Wuyin was in an untenable position for his elevation to the Authority of Imperial Law.

How could they possibly allow him to use them as whetstone? Moreover, that strategy might work against a galaxy such as the Prosperous Ruin Galaxy or Treasured Vale Galaxy with their overly ambitious and arrogant characters, but the Utmost Purity Galaxy was divided by self-interest without a core leadership. They followed the Alchemic Dao and the progression of society and skill, nothing else.

Finding a fight here? Unless he disregarded everything and attacked their headquarters or galactic zones directly, there was no way they would easily fall into such a predicament. In her opinion, Wei Wuyin was simply at a disadvantage due to the nature of the galaxy's societal climate. Furthermore, it was clear to see that he, for whatever reason, couldn't be the initiator!

The arduous path of cultivation was broad with many unnatural and fascinating limitations, so none of them thought this was strange. For example, the Guardian Deity of the now-named Resolute Dusk Galaxy—the Divinity of Endless Sky had a cultivation base exceeding the Microheaven Envoy Phase of the Resonant Soul Realm, truly a powerful supreme existence, yet had restrictions that prevented them from taking action against any foreign cultivator beneath the Resonant Soul Realm. This restriction allowed Wei Wuyin to seize the galaxy as a vassal without any particularly strong resistance outside its native Sages.

Tianshi Ya held in her urge to communicate with Suo Haoran. She wanted to say a thousand different things, and Suo Haoran noted her curiosity by the tension within her grip. He briefly observed her as a decision flickered within his thoughts. When his thoughts solidified, the Elephant-Tigress Sovereign, Long Shiya, and the Golden Night Sovereign simultaneously looked in his direction.

Shockingly, their reactions to Wei Wuyin's outburst were mild. It was almost as if they expected it.

No, as if they fully predicted it!

"Ya'er, close your eyes, open your Sea of Consciousness, I'll bring you somewhere for you to gain experience." Suo Haoran instructed gently, yet his words caught the attention of Long Shiya whose expression turned somewhat unsightly.

However, after Suo Haoran's aggression before, he unwillingly suppressed his belly of comments.

The Golden Night Sovereign had none of his fears, questioning outright: "Creation Enforcer Suo, your actions are inappropriate." She was obviously cautioning him against his intentions.

However, Suo Haoran shrugged nonchalantly. Tianshi Ya was confused as her gaze moved between Long Shiya and the Golden Night Sovereign. The latter didn't bother after her initial warning. She ignored Suo Haoran.

The Elephant-Tigress Sovereign pouted, not out of frustration, but a tinge of envy. When she was at Tianshi Ya's level of status, she didn't have the right to be included or someone to fight on her behalf as hard as Suo Haoran. The luck some women have.

Tianshi Ya looked at Suo Haoran who gave her a comforting look. She decided to trust him, closing her eyes, and opening her Sea of Consciousness. When she did, a brief sting of pain followed by a warm sensation enveloped her Sea of Consciousness before touching upon her Mind's Eye.

Suddenly, she felt as if her soul was whisked away by a great gale, utterly irresistible, and her senses were all sealed.

The experience was beyond the concept of dizzying and as close to an out-of-body experience as one could possibly imagine. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a grand hall. The hall was spacious, large, and decorated with fantastical phenomenons at every corner, imprinted on the walls—all Alchemical Phenomenons! The ceiling was a vast starry sky that was beauty incarnate. It made those stars seem close yet unbelievably far, a diametrically opposing feeling that clashed to leave one with a heart full of wonders.

She had never thought the stars could be so varied and beautiful, filled with rich colors on a canvas of void.

She was on a high platform that served as the top gallery.

Standing here, as she looked down at the stage below lined with a set of lower balconies, she felt as if she was a god.

This was especially so with the stage below being a flat heptagon made of translucent green jade that depicted the image of a starry-eyed Wei Wuyin at its center. In each of the seven corners, excluding one that was blank, were depictions of other scenes or other individuals, flashing wildly from environment to environment, sometimes including entire planets or continents.

Clearly, those six corners were looking for something. She could only assume this was a mystical tool to locate Su Yi.

When she turned to her left, there was a platform next to her, and the Elephant-Tigress Sovereign was there, her gaze and facial expression far from the overly emotional one she was familiar with. She was solemn and cold. To put it bluntly, she was professional.

She felt a familiar warmth, and her gaze turned to find Suo Haoran who carried a gentle smile in his eyes, yet his lips were depicting a solemn glint. Clearly, even he didn't dare to be flagrant with his outward aura here. Silently, Suo Haoran gestured with his finger outward. She followed his finger and her heart instantly entered a torrential stampede!

Seven figures, each garbed in a different colored attire, each depicting one of the seven aspects of alchemy—Extraction, Growth, Containment, Refinement, Creation, Transformation, and Fusion—while unfathomable auras that rivaled the heavens.

The Zeniths!

The seven Heavenly Alchemic Saints of the Utmost Purity Galaxy's Seven Utmost Towers!

Suo Haoran's words flowed through her spirit, "This is the Utmost Unity Mind-Realm. Only those of sufficient status or permissions can enter here with their Mental Incarnation."

As he explained, her current mental body was besieged by extraordinarily piercing gazes. She felt as if her entire mind was dunked into an icy bath.

"I've brought her here," Suo Haoran said flatly, his tone laced with a thinly-veiled killing intent.

Instantly, those gazes vanished and her body was suffused with delicate warmth. She found great relief as her mental body leaned closer to Suo Haoran. Only then did she have enough sense of safety to look his way, her eyes sparkling.

She knew of the Utmost Unity Mind-Realm! It was a heaven for mental and soul cultivation that was envied by all Supreme Sage!

After all, after entering the Supreme Sage, she was aware that the next step was cultivating one's True Soul, which was notoriously difficult. There were products like the Abstruse Spiritforce Pill, but they were stupendously rare, and not very practical, while Cultivation Methods out there were either in their fledgling stages or a Supreme Sage had to start from scratch.

However, the Utmost Unity Mind-Realm was a blessed cultivation ground that can condense Unity Essence! This essence was incredibly special, converted from refined mental energies into a type of supplementary essence that can be used to nurture the soul, including elevating various aspects of cultivation like Origin States or Mortal States. It was a boon for any cultivator as nurturing the soul allowed greater ease in comprehension and ascending to the True Soul Phase of the Mystic Ascendant Realm and the Resonant Soul Realm!

More importantly, it could mitigate the need for Seeds of Laws when ascending, acting as a proper proxy, greatly bolstering one's chances of success. It was a rare opportunity!

Suo Haoran had brought her HERE?!

She had petitioned for the last thirty-thousand years to enter, yet was always denied despite her talent for alchemy and cultivation base. This only showed the level of difficulty of being invited here! After all, she was a descendant of Tianshi Zaoxuan—a genuine Heavenly Alchemic Saint! And a Worldly Saint Alchemist who had shown great promise in one day becoming a Heavenly Alchemic Saint! Even that wasn't enough!!

Tianshi Ya was thoroughly thrilled, holding in her urge to scream in excitement.

However, her excitement aside, the Zeniths of the Utmost Purity Galaxy were having a discussion.

Tianshi Zaoxuan's voice echoed out, "See. Things are going as we predicted."

The Zenith Refinement Saint's scholarly voice followed close after, "Predicted? Orchestrated. It's too easy to manipulate these fools of the Imperial Dao. Far too easy."

"All that's left is for him to issue whatever he desires like a dreaming baboon, and then Su Yi will be in our hands after we crush him," despite the words spoken like a hunt after prey, the voice was kind, gentle, and elderly tone like a wise old grandfather speaking lovingly to their grandchildren with unconditional love and care, creating a whiplash of feelings. It belonged to none other than the Heaven-Saint Zenith Fusion!!

Tianshi Ya's eyes brightened! This was the Utmost Purity Tower's war room! They were plotting and scheming here!

She immediately realized the importance of Suo Haoran bringing her here, and her heart erupted with all sorts of feelings.

Suo Haoran's calm voice echoed in her ears, "Focus."

Her mind sharpened as she focused with all her mental capacity. She couldn't miss a single syllable!

Beyond the Utmost Unity Mind-Realm, Wei Wuyin's momentum was rising as if that question of fear was enough to cause a straight brawl. But none of them were fooled by his bravado as if they'd seen through his intentions as if he was a mirror.

"If this is what you want, so be it. I'll accept your challenge to any clash of the Alchemic Dao! And if I win, then—" Wei Wuyin paused as all ears and eyes focused on him. He then grinned, "—before I agree, I need to know if you all even have the qualifications to challenge me to any clash. How about this: You send a champion. Anyone. If they can survive three moves, then I'll accept your challenge. If not, then perhaps Daoist Su's location is outside of the Utmost Purity Galaxy's reach."

"..."

"..."

"LET'S FUCKING GO!" The Elephant-Tigress Sovereign roared.
