Chapter 904: Senbu Clan Enters the Frame |
The situation seemed to be getting as weird as it could be, at first it seemed like they were just trying to bait the Senbu Clan in the open, but slowly it was turning into a real fight.
Both sides didn't seem to be able to make the difference any longer, it looked they were too involved in the fighting for survival that it didn't seem like a ploy any longer.
The losses had surpassed the estimations and the outside parties couldn't help but think that perhaps this wasn't a ploy any longer.
Of course, that was just a thought though, as it was impossible to determine whether this was true or not. Only the guys at the top of Muto and Kiri Clan would be able to answer that question.
Just as these thoughts started sparking in many peoples heads, the formations changed once again, and this time both sides seemed to be going full throttle.
Experts from both sides seemed to have finally reached the point of not being able to hold lines and positions as they jumped all in attack, their goal was to kill as many as they could from the opposite side.
In a matter of moments a bloody and scary act took place as limbs, blood, and lives were being thrown away even faster than dirty clothes.
The situation became so serious that even the two Clan Patriarchs couldn't stand back any longer, as they approached the battlefield as well.
"Heheheheh~! Old thing you still haven't died!?"
Right of the bat when no one expected, a loud and hoarse voice conquered the whole battlefield, scaring almost everyone.
"How could I die when I know that you are still alive!? It would be such a disgrace to mother nature!"
Just as the momentum of the first scream was freezing everyone in fear, a second one spread through the battlefield, counterattacking and reversing the situation.
The ones to suffer were certainly the weak and normal experts of both sides, as they felt like they had suddenly been thrown to the bottom of a deep ocean.

It was a scary feeling for sure, but none of them had the time to think, as they all felt a scary attack wave, and heard a loud explosion.

For a moment their ears went offline, as no one was able to hear what the guys close to them were saying no matter how much they tried to concentrate.

The moment that they were able to recover from their situation, they heard the surprised voice of one of the two old men, or to be more precise the voice of Patriarch Muto.
How could he not be shocked when he had found out that something which was supposed to be his and only his in this country and probably shared only with Tianlong Yun in the whole world appeared in front of him.
It was just like he had suddenly found out that his wife was cheating on him, a really displeasant feeling for sure.

Patriarch Muto was even more unable to understand what was going on because the feeling he got from the opponent was similar to his powers after the breakthrough.
He guarded the manual that Tianlong Yun provided him with his life, not even his favourite son had been allowed to glimpse on it.
It should be impossible for Tianlong Yun to have provided this manual to the guy because this should be one of a kind. There shouldn't exist another similar one on Earth, otherwise it would be too heaven defying.

On the contrary to Patriarch Muto's gloomy mood, Patriarch Kiri seemed to have a blooming smile on his face, one that seemed to make light of the sun as well.
"Let me give you a hint just to make things more interesting, no man has been able to resist a ladies charm."

It was unknown whom Patriarch Muto had on mind at that moment, but those words served just right to increase the blooming smile on Patriarch Kiri's face.

Patriarch Muto was extremely angry for a moment there knowing that he had been played, but at the end of the day he was an old fox with many years of experience.
He was able to calm down and think about the best options at the time, as he took a deep breath and regained his strength and resolve.
It didn't matter whether his opponent had access to the manual or not, what mattered was that he was fully confident on being much better than the opponent.
Furthermore he had received the manual from Tianlong Yun himself, while his opponent had only managed to receive his crumbs.
What was surprising was that during all this time he had never thought that the one who started the whole ordeal in Asia and worldwide was Tianlong Yun himself.
It wasn't his fault, as there was no news of Tianlong Yun's appearance and involvement in the least. Not even one of his spies had been able to get wind of it.

Patriarch Kiri didn't seem afraid or troubled of his opponents threat though. In fact he looked extremely calm, and collected as he snorted in a fit of displeasure.

That was the start of another bout of fighting among the two figures, as the experts below started suffering the consequences once again.

It would take a while for the experts below to get used to the aftermaths of the two old fogies battle, but they had no other option but to clench their teeth and continue fighting.
Now it wasn't the time to get used to the situation, but fight with everything they had for survival. They either killed or got killed.
Blood started flowing once again, starting by a small leak until it slowly grew into a small river once again.
The only good thing about this whole mess was that it hadn't turned into a civil war yet, and it was just a clash of two factions otherwise the losses would be certainly unthinkable.
It seemed like both sides still had some scruples and limits in place, but the truth was that there was still a great limiter in place that neither side wanted to have against at this moment, the Senbu Clan.
They were still watching everything from the side and had yet to take action, but one look at the face of Patriarch Senbu and one could easily understand that he was the most shocked person in the crowd.
"Perhaps we have been to confident and arrogant on our might to understand that our castle was being taken from inside.
