What a lousy ending

It's good for the first 100 chapters. But it become boring because there is no plot moving forward. Not until 400-490 chapters that it become interesting again.

Mainly because the streaming plot take unnecessary long time from patient to patient. Instead one or two chapters, it become dozen or so chapters. Creating useless info dump that not important to the current plot.

It's just a pity that author doesn't use the plot formula on the beginning of the novel and end of the novel. If author change it's approach, this story will be good.

it ended too abruptly

This novel is a mixed bag for me. It's fun to read about all manner of outlandish scenarios and scams, along with some supernatural goodness mixed in, but at the same time, it is also a bit boring. Why is it boring you might ask? The main character's cultivation method allows him to see the past, present and future of almost anyone...so there's no suspense or mystery when solving cases or encountering supernatural matters - the mc already knows the answer to everything. He knows who the killer is or who the scammer is. He also knows that the mother-in-law of the scammer is, in fact, also scamming the scammer with more scams. The mc knows EVERYTHING, so the only enjoyment the reader can take from the novel is the face-slapping and juicy gossip. Since no investigation work is needed, this also means you can turn off your brain and directly enjoy the outlandish drama, which could be a plus if that's the only thing you like. I personally end up skimming a few parts, since the mc's online consultations are filled with the comments from the peanut gallery, which can make the story a bit bloated for me, but this is simply me wanting to get straight to the gossip.
I would rate this novel 3.9 stars out of 5. Although i enjoy it greatly, i wouldn't call it a good novel per say, i wish the mc struggled just a tiny bit more when solving cases. Maybe every time he looked into the future or past, he would have to cough out some blood due to some backlash. I feel some sort of limitation to his all knowing powers would have been nice. Also, shoutout to supreme_ancestor for providing many of the chapters, he's a good lad.

Read upto chapter 128. No more please. I have read a lot of stuff over the course of my life until now, but never something this insidious. This sh*t messes with the brain in a way I havent experienced before. It honestly made me question myself and the reality around me. Slowly unwrapping a birthday gift, while its simply a big piece of rotten dung. Every "diagnosis" is aimed at the reader, not that fictional character, aimed to mess with each and everyone of us. Not to mention the described situations, its all to throw us onto the "negative" perception of reality. See bad where we saw good. No thank you.

Stay away if you treasure your mental health.
